  • i hate what humans have become! they aren't god! they should learn to accept fate sometimes. poor monkey <:(

  • money probably thought he was a god

  • Cut off monkey arm and selotape dat bitch on!!!

  • Monkey heads are going to rule the world !!!

  • Comment removed

  • Gentlemen, I demanded remarkable results to equal the given funding.

Now where is my damn Kriegaffe proto-model that I requested~?

  • i want about tree fiddy of those

  • Project Skynet Monkey was a success!

    Quoted from 0:44 seconds:

"Incredible as it may seem, these Terminator Monkeys learn to feed themselves on human remains with a T-1000 arm, that was being directly controlled by their Skynet Neural processor, as if it was simply part of them.."

  • People first, do what you can for the monkeys. I've seen a few young soldiers who'll want to be first on the list as soon as this can be made available.

  • Search for a girl named Claudia Mitchell, whom is now testing and benefiting from a similar device.

  • Wasn't this clip used in Surrogates?

  • Jax wins

    Flawless Victory

  • Disguising and shamefully science.

  • The fact that they used a monkey means it's dangerous; they would have used a human if it was safe. So there was a chance of hurting the monkey, and many experiments which we don't get to see on youtube end up with hurt/dead animals.

That's not to say I'm against it. The end justifies the means. The problem is, we can't know which ends are justifiable until they've happened. Tough questions.

  • @TerielAtmano the fact that they used a monkey was because human testing is ILLEGAL

  • Hi. Aprox by the year 2020 a laptop will reach the human brain potential for processing data which means that there is a huge market waiting for hundreds of billions dollars to be sold or invested in humanoid robots and intelligent systems and the beginning of the bigger industry ever maid in human history. Search on Google luisbeck007 you will find the most complete humanoid robot list in the World, good information and interesting issues.

  • open source ftw!

  • so I can finally become like Goro, yay for multitasking

  • Oh my fuckin god. That is awsome.

  • What a step forward , fantastic

  • What? No source code for the decoding algorithm? Lame-o's!

  • Got here due to curiosity of Brain-Computer-Interface heavily influenced by Ghost in the Shell.

  • Omg, Thats nice! And he's freaking good at controlling it too! I doubt many people are capable if moving that arm with such precision and speeds with a normal control device!

  • Oh, right, right. Because people who commit crimes totally deserve that! Especially the ones that were wrongly thrown there for the first place!

Beside I don't think this is animal torture as all.

They didn't amputate anything from the monkey either, and the monkey seemed fine.

  • Oh, because granting people the ability to use their arm if it was taken off some how is really nothing. They can do so much with this technology.

  • Im pretty sure that hes not alwayse in the box. It would probably acctually want to go in the box. seeing as it got tasty snackums. ^-^

  • The monkey doesn't have a microchip inside of his head...

Hair sized probes were inserted into his brain...it's not that big of a deal and I'd doubt if the monkey ever felt much pain at all.

Sure...he's trapped in a box where he has to feed himself yummy treats with a robot arm. Geez, pooooor monkey.

    Science rulez.

  • @NixKnacks: PROTIP: You have forgotten what FREEDOM is all about. You took his freedom. That’s the problem!

  • omfg I can?t believe this man actually stole my lingerie and took pictures of them!

  • Well it beats sitting on your hand...

  • LOL

  • LMFAO

"I like to give myself strangers."

    Nice, dude.

  • I could use a pair of those, along with some M85s :P

  • crazy...i feel sorry for the monkey though..but technology...man o man...crazy...the world's getting crazier by the day...it's like i'm in a science fiction movie...scientists trying to recreate the big bang..micro chips that can interact with the mind...crazy...

  • Everyone look up DARPA who created MMEA Multiple Micro Electrode Array which is controlled by the software BMI Brain Machine Interface and realize this technology blows RFID and Digital Angel out of the water. It's far superior to where it can remotely control a person's emotions - fear, euphoria, depression -- plus pleasure and pain.

  • most recent prosthetics are connected to muscles by mioelectrodes, unfortunately direct connetion to brain tissue doesn't work well for the time being

  • BTfTRQzNASWaD4BvqwGpGJg3Y

any body want to hit it and quit it? No strings bone inside!

    B6CaSgMaDRnDGb6g5y3XqaDv

  • why havnt they done this on humans yet, who have lost arms, or legs. instead of doin it with monkeys over and over. put it to use already

  • i have seen some guy in school who have some robot hand. it's not so fast like that but he can move it somehow. i haven't asked him like "do you move that with your brains" :D or something. but i guess he does because there can't be any other way to move that robot hand

  • wow. oh yeah my bad I accidently rated this 1, soz

  • i would absolutely love if scientist found out a way that we could talk to animals

  • Interesting... But I can imagine so many able-bodied people using this technology to be more lazy than they already are lol

  • Cyberpunk!

  • You know why the monkey can operate a robotic arm and us people can't. ? the monkey doesn't know he can't do it , he just does it with no thought of can I ....??? JUST MY THOUGHTS..lol

  • Um... us people CAN and do... you are mistaken. This type of thing is done by humans and even better than a monkey can...

  • i think it is ok

the monkey is not being harmed (visibly)

and this may one day really help amputees

this ia apublic service of sorts

  • check out my videos and come to your own conclusions why scientists are authorized to do this, are they trying to help us or control us ?????? enjoy the folly of voting

  • You're a dim bulb.

  • what does that make you

  • A couple Watts brighter.

  • good one penis breath

  • Testing on animals is cruel indeed, we should use animal rights activists instead.

  • wtf he is happy eating those grapes, looks at the fat bastard chomping them down, he's having the time of his life, TRUST ME!

  • Yeah, that's not that bad a life, I mean, it's what I do... only my box is slightly bigger, I'm not chimp you know!

  • Gah to hell with animal rights, we wouldn't learn anything otherwise.. would you like to donate yourself to scientific testing? Go for it; save a chimp.

  • you really think they are trying to help you or monkeys, of course you do your programmed very well

  • I like the idea of using deathrow inmates for this type of research. Then the monkey folks would be happy and if I were paralyzed I could still eat marshmellows.

  • What? You want to give bionics to inmates? They'll have superpowers and run amok!

  • They'll always have the urge to feed themselves grapes and THAT will be their downfall.

  • Damn those pesky monkey's, there gonna take over again.......

  • So, you think this is useless? Well, what if you were in a car crash, for example, and you lost the ability to use your arm(s) or leg(s). Would you think it was a useless invention then? Or maybe you wouldn't care if you could never use your arm(s) or leg(s)ever again. Just take a second to *think* once in a while...

  • lol, its a monkey with a big arm on it!

  • HE GETS MORE GRAPES AND THEN HAPPY MEALS, then adopted by me

  • awesome

  • That´s the point of making this monkey researches.

  • what will hapen if the monkey thinks about killing all humans?

  • OMFG!!! just think, in the future we may think this sort of tecnology being normal. just think of the posobilities, we will be able to feed ourselfs without having to move a muscle.

  • "What a useless invention. Big deal."

This is one of the most profoundly ignorant statements I have seen, even given the normally low standards of Youtube comments. This robotic technology has HUGE implications in terms of helping paralyzed persons and those who have lost limbs.

  • You sir, are a fucking idiot.

This isn't an 'invention' its part of research into robotics. And it seems pretty mind blowing to me.

  • Simply awesome.

  • No I didn't.

    You did tho.

You must hate them very much.

    Why?

Why do you hate them so much?

  • I have no reason to dis any civil servants, and frankly I don't see why you had to dis them.

You got some kind of problem with them?

  • This is great but when will we get to see a robot arm with a monkey attached to it?

  • Are you dense? The monkey had painless sensors attached to it's brain and its original arms intact. It was put into a box so it had to use the robotic arm from inside the box.

There are no signs of animal cruelty here. Stop forcing it and go hump a log.

  • the monkey ought to just let itself out then it can eat all the food?

  • two words...sky-net

  • Damn right. Think Planet of the apes and The Terminator combined. '' come with me if you want to live oooo oooo. '' Though an army of robotic monkey slaves doing my bidding is tempting.

  • I'll bet the monkey's thinking

"now if only this arm could reach some poo so I can throw some at these motherfucking scientists!"

  • Its what all monkeys think about.

  • The sound effects are fake, but the video and entire concept is most certainly NOT fake. There are a lot of articles about this subject.

  • monkey see?....monkey do!

  • this is great for those fat 800 pound ppl who cant get around, they can just feed themselves more with these new robot arms

  • I have always feared a robot or monkey uprising, but this! Humanity is screwed when this Inevitably goes horribly wrong when the chimps get a taste for human flesh or some such happening.

  • Until they reach the end of the extention cord.

    Shortest uprising ever?

  • LOL yeah the whole time they were playing that hip discovery channel futuristic music i was just like MY GOD THAT'S DISTURBING

  • cyborg monkeys=teh win

  • cool would the same microchip work on a human brain 2 ???? i mean in real life have they tested it yet

  • Yes and works ! ;)

  • ha hah aha ha i wanna brain damaged by this thing i mean all the day work for simdowg

  • This looks very interesting especially if your disabled. I think the day will come very soon when people who have lost the use of their limbs will walk freely about in a robot exo-skeleton just by thinking.

  • It will be nicer to see stem cell research progress to the point where the broken nerves can simply be regrown.

  • The monkey should use the arm to pry open that box it's in...Check out my video wherein I blow dry my tongue and then eat a cracker all while acting like a surfer dude...

  • cool!!! that's awesome

  • it looks fake

  • Lol!

  • Before the animal rights people jump in, I agree that the monkeys shouldn't be put in those plastic cages for this test.

We should have removed their limbs completely so the little fuckers didn't have a choice around it. ;P

  • HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAA mean LOL

  • LOL

  • @Truthiness231 LOL FTW

  • @Truthiness231 haha you're a cruel prick!

  • @Truthiness231 maybe your limbs should be taken off as well for being a sarcastic little dickhead. go fuck yourself you cruel motherfucking idiot cunt.

  • @childrenincinema It... was... a... joke... It was also a joke that more people found funny that hated it, to be honest.

Now then, if you thought that was offensive, try what Jimmy Carr wrote as "the most offensive joke ever": You know they say there is safety in numbers? Tell that to 6 million Jews.

And notice nobody died; nobody is hurt; hopefully a few are offended, but it's still funny...

I'd also make a joke about Islam for contrast, but that one group has no humor whatsoever.

  • cool!!!

  • monkey security .... reaal movie

  • with the smerks on there faces i would guess there pulling r legs. AHH HAA HAA (LOUD NOISES] get it

  • If the monkeys learn how to use and make robots, they'll use them to in slave all of humanity! The FOOLS!!!

  • there is allready a patient in the states with such a robot arm. keep on sleeping.

  • Get your robotic arms off of me you damn dirty apes!

  • lol

    good monkey

  • NICE - First level for building MECH :D

  • does that monkey only have 1 arm?

  • it used to but for some reason it went away

  • Cool Video!

  • """interesing"""im tryn 2 studie

  • I went to school with a girl with no arms.

I wonder if she would smart enough to control these arms...

  • hmm, I need that arm to masturbate :))))

  • the bearded dude looks like a monkey

  • I'm not afraid of that robot monkey. I would just run through a puddle and it would short circuit out and burst into flames. Nobody seems to understand that the monkey must recharge every so often. It can't pursue you non-stop. During that time you can fashion spears or other weapons to use against its remaining non-robotic body parts.

  • it isnt crewl it is not like they are atached to that thing!! think of it this way they must be engoying them selves because they can eat fruit!!

maybe it is cruel to inplant a chip in their brain but it is soo smal they might not even feel it

  • this isnt crewl i found it quite interesting

  • If you look up "Robotic Monkey" on google the first pic that comes up is a monkey thats been strapped into this thing so that it can't move to be tested for one of these fake arms...

  • I agree =[[

  • I am smarter than that monkey.

  • i think this is old...

  • lols monkeys with robot arms

  • when is someone going to invent the sex chip? huh?

  • lol i hope

  • why coz u cant get any..

  • The mind control has made a jump of quality. Total control of a person like in the Movie The Trhuman Show, it is born in Italy in the 1995 and has never ended. It is in progress in Italy...

Search italianprisoner on blog of Google

  • lol robot monkeys.

  • This would render his natural arm useless, His brain will reject it and only keep using the mechanical arm.

  • cool

  • it said "reenactment." so i guess the monkey wasn't actually controlling the arm in the video. monkey just sat there while the robot fed it strawberries.

  • guys... what happened to their arms?

  • They're in the Box with them.

  • omg , you win best comment for this vid...hands down....ooops I mean ummm what happened to their arms guys :P

  • how weirdly awesome!

  • I heard that they had to put the monkey in a box because it kept using the robotic arm to beat off.

  • LOL

  • LMFAO!

  • they do this on my gym partners a monkey

  • how so??

  • not like this

jake (monkey) puts that exact same robot arm on his head and then he cant controll it anymore

  • Hahahaa

  • lol, good but instead of changing thoughts to movement they should change thoughts to speach... or maby im thinking abit further in the future

  • Actually there R 2 main types of robot linbs I know of currently being developed.1)is actually sensing the ever so slight muscle movement to amplify that moment. The other we actually dont need wires/chip.We are at a stage in the game a halo or even an area can detect the brain waves. Turn a light on/off-move a mouse all directions/click. Seriously. We now border on mind reading machines.how would someone that never had an arm know how to use this?

  • lmao the robot arm smacks the monkey's face =D

oh well, it's cute. I wonder if it will be made portable?

  • i bet the monkey is thinking, "why are these people using a soul stealer and making me use a whatever it's called to feed myself...oh well...free food!!!

  • the monkey seems pretty happy to be there! it's cute.

  • thats sweet.

  • that looks cool!

But yeah, it would be too heavy.

  • that would be great for people who have lost limbs, but it might be a bit heavy!

  • McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine. I know these guys.

  • wow SSSSWWEEET

  • Sounds like thats for the future

  • The next step is a microchip robot BRAIN for the unfortunate humans who aren't currently under NWO Corporate-Fascist Goverment-Media MkUltra hypnosis.....

Total Control/Slavery...No Jive, Just Hive..WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD ORDER

  • all agreed with you man. but even i who agree with that stuff get the "what? whats he talking about, ooookay" reaction. for peopel with no background on the info, they can only go by their conditioned response to this stuff.

  • Well, ooookay...You know and i know that the "situation" is rather serious and 'time' is growing short... This thousands year old PLAN for cybergenetic

nanophysical psychopolitical TOTAL CONTROL of every atom in the ecosystem by a ruling bloodline elite thru their technocratic minions is in sight, coming to fruition right in front of us. The END GAME IS NOW. TIME TO WAKE UP!

  • chill, the research is for amputees and prosthetics research. i can't see any other applications for it.

  • MONKEYS hahhahahha

  • That looked a bit suspect. The "Monkey"(which looks to me like a macaque, which is an ape!)... didn't seem to be focusing on anything other than the crew, and NOT the motions. Hmmmm....

  • "pray for mojo..."

  • WHAT? Screw that, prey for the power puff girl, Mojo has a robo arm now!

  • I was quoting a line from the Simpsons, when homer got a monkey designed to help paralyzed people but he just sat on his butt and made the monkey get him beer. at the end when he has to give the monkey back, it slowly crawls up to the animal place (looking worn out) and types into a computer "pray for mojo". one of the best simpsons lines

  • Cygor!

  • first of all, did anybody besides me notice the guy in the beginning with the remote control for the robot arm, and by the way, where are the incision marks on the monkeys head from the surgery to implant the chip, and wouldnt the skull have some deformation due to the surgery??

  • maybe the incision was on the other side of the skull. And brain surgery does not deform your skull.

  • buddy im here to tell u. brain surgery dosnt deform your skull. i had an avm that needed to be surgicaly removed from my head. although being able to control a cyborg arm would have been cooler :P

  • i didnt mean brain surgery, i meant that there was a microchip implanted into his brain, it might be a microchip, but its not a large monkey, and i would think there would be some wiring of the brain involved, would the skull still look the same if this had been done, seriously, i dont really care if they did this to the monkey or not, i just want to know what is really going on, im definitely not a technophobe either

  • well u do have a point. but i have a plate on my skull and i didnt even know it was there till a year later when i got x rays. i quess it depends on the size of the chip... but im no brain surgeon lol.

  • they said something about connecting to the imputs that already connect your arm and tell it to move i dont think any "brain wireing" is used as far as i know so u know like stories about people who lost an arm but still feel it

  • It's called a microchip for a reason. It's fuckin' small. =)

  • really?? wow, i had no idea, thanks for clearing that up
