Saw them December 2010 in Wolverhampton they were brilliant as always. Try to catch them every year. They are playing download festival this year. You can catch them on the main stage.

I saw them once as Openers for the Guns'n'Roses. Never saw such a blatant difference of quality in live performance. These boys here gave all their heart and nearly died on stage for their art, the Guns were rather poor, obviously thought they would have bought their audience just because they were the Guns. For me, them Quireboys performance ranges all along a line with Willy de Ville, Neil Young, Primal Scream, Ian Brown and Zebda.

I Remember seeing Spike in the Golden Lion pub in Corbridge in the early/mid 1990's. Nice guy, as I recall.

of them before. Now some days ago a musician and friend of mine posted a vid of them at facebook. Well at least he's from USA so here and there the quireboys have some fans ;)

@cowgirlgaily1  Nice to hear a new generation picking up on this genre... word of advice: check out 'Exile on Main Street' by the Rolling Stones and watch some films of The Rolling Stones US Tour 1972 on you tube... thats where this whole genre came from...the clothes, attitude, music... everything.
