  • This song is why I started to hear X, then when i heard the new songs i was disapointed

  • I knew loudness... but now i fucking LOVE this!

  • I hope they still do songs off Vanishing Vision, was disappointed to hear this only on some VHS-rip of one of their lives.

  • 初めて聞いた…。

  • perfect!

  • Awesome. I too wish X still did stuff like this.

Very nice upload - thanks a lot. You are X.

  • I never thought I'd see footage of this song live. thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you............

  • Was this song ever released on any of their CDs? It's pretty cool.

  • @NeoNebula0Katana Vanishing Vision, track 3!

  • I LOVE THIS

  • またやってほしいな・・・。

  • intro with drum like's you fool no one of deep purple?!?!

  • "Metallica lost popularity when they *made* an album with no guitar solos"

  • @Aizen9 hmm... what Metallica does there???

  • Metallica lost popularity when they an album with no guitar solos, and metal bands who over sell merchandise/dumb down there music/over advertise themselves on tv are considered sellouts, that's how its always been with metal fans.

Yoshiki has done all of this 1 million x worse than any other band, in any other country he'd be ruined.

You don't get it so don't bother arguing with me about it, just go buy some X-Japan Curry, earings and whine glasses Yoshiki soldout on.

  • @byonin "He hasn't done anything bad"

Hasn't done anything wrong, uuugh, blind fangirls again.

Look, you don't understand the heavy metal genre, its the most talented genre of music along with Rock, and therefore there are rules believe it or not, this you DON'T DO to the music in a metal band.

  • The only reason Yoshiki decided to play Blue Blood on the news years live was because they went back to a small clup house for the first time in 20 years and thinks metal songs like Blue Blood are only suited for those places, yes that is what he said in slightly different wording and I that's a fucking insult to every metal band out there.

after that the closest is an acoustic version of Rose of Pain, that's it, we wont see classic X r the classic feel ever again, Yoshiki doesn't care.

  • Indeed X's style has changed for the worse, but they still manage to play many of their classics in their current concerts, and it sounds pretty darn good....so I can't complain....but once Hide-Sama left us, the band's new compositions kind of went down hill, style-wise....I'll be honest, "I.V." and "Jade" are HUGE disappointments to me....hopefully the classic feel of X will remain alive.

  • Anyone who's watching old videos/listening to their heavy metal songs like 'phantom, sadistic, rose of pain, Vanishing Love, Blue Blood ect.', and still thinks that Yoshiki cares about them really need to look at everything Yoshiki has done to destroy the heavy metal genre within the band and realise that Yoshiki kicked us all in the face in 1994 and never looked back.

The only fans he cares about are the "oh he's so hot" ballad loving fangirls, that's it.

  • fuck off already -_____-;;

He hasn't done anything bad, except kicking Taiji out. That's it.

  • Best song of X...

    Fuck ballads

  • I LOVE this band..

  • Heath appears only on lives and on some official apperances on band in mass media..the truth is that X-JAPAN now is just money earning empty shell of old pure rock band.

  • Yes, its very sad and it just sucks that Yoshiki don't let him play the lead guitar parts. Thats why understand why title26 says that he is not doing anything in the band, just playing some random noisy crap :S. I think the same goes for the bass solo intro in endless rain, even if Heath if not as good as Taiji, he can do it for sure (is not difficult to do), but he never does, and personally, I think is because Yoshiki don't allow him.

  • i miss Hide n Taiji badly.... Taiji should back to X,

It won't be happened tho...... i love THIS X..what do you think guys?

  • I think the same. And many others too, I guess. Actually, I think they should have never "reformed".

  • :o

    HERMOSOOOOOOO

    MUY BUENOOOOOOOOOO

    SI ALGUIEN TUVIERA LA TRADUCCION

  • Niiiiiiii te gusta x japan XD

  • the bassline is so good

  • they were very good live performers !

i love old school visual kei

  • yes another fan of old shcool vk its way better than now but i still like it now

  • They still are good performers, don't you know they've reunited?

  • yeah, without Taiji and Hide, with another guitar player who we didn't asked to come in

  • Without the new guitar player we wouldn't have X-Japan back, also the new player is Sugizo from Luna Sea, and he and Hide were always best friends, and he plays X-Japan's songs just as good, so don't be so negative.

Sugizo recently played an awesome violin opening for Kurenai and Dahlia at the Tokyo Dome concerts beginning of this month.

  • yeah i know that because i was there for 2 days. In anyway i just want to say that not all guys who like X don't like lunasea. rather they should be a legend of the world who has completed its own fate

  • Sugizo sucks.

    Heath sucks.

Pata is the only respectable member left.

  • What's your beef with Sugizo?

  • @title26 Actually, Sugizo is actually better than hide and Pata. He is a more proficient guitarist than either of them; however, that is one aspect. His compositions, while still very good, have nothing hide's (or Pata's).

  • Comment removed

  • @inukikyo89 Do not make me laugh ... guitar solos are very dirty and Sugizo hard to understand, the HIDE and Pata solos are excellent, well understood and are known to synchronize very well, besides classical influence in some songs, that makes them even better.

  • @TheBalticSun I know that hide and Pata have well synchronized solos...I have no idea what comment to which you're replying.

  • @inukikyo89 But do not come to say that Sugizo is better than Pata and Hide

  • @TheBalticSun Sugizo is a better "technician" than either of them, and he has a great, deep style, too. Albeit, it works better for his solo stuff.

I like Pata and hide, more, though, and I think their harmony is something Sugizo can never do.

  • ummmm. Violin does not belong in metal, scondly, I have not seen Sugizo doi shit in the band, they just do old recordings of hide playing guitar, thirdly, do not watch this video. You are an X Japan fan, not an X fan.

  • but Yoshiki plays piano.. he played piano when X-Japan was just X... so your argument there isn't exactly rational.

i don't much care for Yune either,,, but he's the guy hide would have wanted to do it.

  • Was I talking about Yoshiki? NO I WASN'T

  • you were talking about yune playing violin, pointing out that "classical has no place in metal".. when yoshiki plays piano.. you're obvious wrong and don't want to accept you're an idiot..

  • Yoshiki can make it work. Sugizo can't. Now go fantasize about your beloved Heath.

  • Yeah, i know how you feel. When i hear sugizo violin in the most recents lives, that just freak me out badly. Like something was really wrong there. About the guitar, he is not even playing the lead guitar stuff, but other ramdom crap and I really dont know why. And that thing about him been the six members, that just wath they say because they know how crazy can become hide fanboys. They really need to replace him, even if is Sugizo who does this. We need to stop hearing zombies playing

  • 2.- About his skills, he is not as good as the luna sea fans claim. He is just average, but he can play an he is not doing it. In blue blood he was really very good, in that song he really played the lead guitar parts and it was nice (i almost cried when i heard blue blood, it was the best thing they did since the reunion began), and heath has improved since the last live, but is still no match for taiji awesome skills. toshi's voice, sometimes is amazing, and sometimes he just can't do it.

  • 3.- Yoshiki still want to play like when they were in the eighties, and he can't do that anymore. lifting his arms so high and hitting the drums like if he is killing roaches just hurts him more, but he still likes to do it because he can't get old. He is a rockstar and he do everything for his fans... Pata is amazing. I still think they can make it, but the band needs to rethink what they are. They just can't stay forever in the past. Title 26, you are a troll, but still i like your style.

  • 4th and last.- I love hide, but they have to move on. The tributes are ok, but they can do that just in one or two songs for concert. that hologram thing was amazing, even if they dont perform the song like in the past. Also I think violin could really work in metal songs, but not the way they are doing it right now.

  • Hey, ya know what... I agree with Pata since I saw him him in front of me (about 50cm) at small club concert in Poland with his pure improvised hard rock band Ra:IN. He IS PURE ROCK'N'ROLL guy even thou he's in his mid 40. He's not acting like halfgod, untouchable like yoshiki... I could even talk to him for 30 second! It was really nice. About Sugizo skills...he claimed himself that X-JAPAN's style isn't his AT ALL and he just play what he is told to do.

  • although i love Taiji n hide crazily, X Japan has to go on.

Sugizo isn't going to replace hide but act as the 6th player (so sad that these 6 players don't include Taiji)

  • Hi!

Could you upload Vanishing Love from this live please? :D

    thanks

  • たいじがいる!!

    たいじがいる頃の曲、好きです。

  • Awesome! Too bad X japan will never play this song live ever again. The reason being that its Taiji's song. They stopped playing all of Taiji's songs after he left.

  • ha? that is why they didnt play this song also song like stab me in the back.i love those song so much.hmmnn thats the reason..

  • this song is also one of their less original ones, though

  • wat about vanishing vision songs they are composed by yoshiki and x doesnt play them

  • its not as original though

  • if they're not original, they're stolen. Stolen from who, you say?

  • x japan ish original...but not this song. i dunno who they took from, but they definenetly did

  • So... you accuse them with no proof xD that's rude

  • ya i no. but i still think that phantom of guilt isn't a very original song. but x japan is still muh favorite band because they have soooo many original songs. i just don't think phantom of guilt is one of them

  • Phantom of GUilt is an X oiginal song composed by Taiji.

  • haha,same as you,i love Taiji!!

  • If they had all ballad style original songs then they would lose their OWN original, because a talented original band needs a few typical songs to fill out their albums nicley.

remember, They are a heavy metal band.

  • I know what you mean. but, Taiji, the composer of this song was a huge fan of Deep Purple. I think borrowed some parts from Smoke in the Water. From taiji's solos, you can tell he really liked that song since he covers the main riff from that song.

  • OMG Really Great!!!

  • OMG Really Great!!!

  • verge of destruction?

  • Yep... 2nd night :)

  • yea killer performance!

  • Yo Tengo Esta Cansion En Forma De MP3, Si La Quiere Yo Te La Puedo Mandar, Lo Que Nesesito Es Tu Direxcion De Tu Coreo Electronico.

  • lolol

  • ace video!
