i was at this game on a class field trip in 5th grade but we left in the 8th inning cuz we had to go back to school! i was so mad yet also happy when i heard the news
Take time to reflect on the Bill Mazorouski Home-run when the Pittsburgh Pirates "popped" the New York Yankees in the 1960 World Series. The Yankee Fans has issues about that World Series. Anybody can recommend Yankee fans any "Psychological help"? Yankee Fans remembers their team between 1966 to 1975. The Yankees were "little league" Pee-Wee Loosers in those days. Reggie Jackson "Popped" the Yankees Mouth with those spectacular home-runs when he was a player for the "Oakland A's". Yanks Failed.
We were about as far away from seeing him hit it as you can get and still be there. So maybe that's why it's more a retrospective wah-hah. We were pretty much right in front of the jumbo-tron, so we missed that, too. So it was quite a thrill for me to see the coverage, as well as the other you tube stuff.
From the land of the swamps, this was our only trip to Yankee Stadium that we squeezed in among so many other things just on this one day! It was so humbling to be in Yankee Stadium after visiting Cooperstown and the Hall of Fame museum (husband "kept me there for over SEVEN hours). To know that at the end of the season, this hallowed place would be no more. Wonderful visit; next up the new Stadium.
I guess so. All I know is I'll never EVER forget that moment.I Almost feel like crying!! Wow, I'm a baseball freak. Teary-eyed over baseball. I'm pathetic, LOL!!
Yeah! I'm sure there were at least 25,000 other people still in the stadium who had a feeling about Jason hitting one. But with the count 0-2 and 2 outs, it was other-wordly, eh?
I was here. I saw a bunch of dumbasses give up on the Yankees. idiots

Been "there" for those moments, but they tend to be few and far between. High on the real thing, Firesign-wise, eh?
