Sucks an intelligent interviewer was taken up by the whole "postmodern" 90's fashion of non-linearity for its own sake.
I do think seeing Eno through anecdotes as much as interview is revealing, but even as an 80's MTV kid, I really find this way of organizing information abrasive.
When people want to watch an interview, it's because they want to learn about an individual, not to tacitly be lectured about the the nature of media via object lessons. Don't miss that fad.
paul morley is such a gimp. I hate his voice, what he says, the articles he writes, his slimey sluggy smugness, his clothes, but most of all I hate his big fat stupid face. what a twat. he doesn't deserve to in the same room as eno.
Right on, Brian, my man! Morley appears to be (by my interpretation) looking for anything he can find to make some kind of mockery of Eno...trying to be, I guess, a clever entertainer. And Eno just tops him everytime by staying honest, calm and confident - while Morley continues attempting to be something he's not. It really seems like the funniest moment Morley has is when he appears pretty "horned-up"-signified by the hand-stroking-chin gestures he's making when asking the sexual inquiries!
People who have comented on this don't seem to like this interview. I loved it. More to the point, I think that Brian approved. And that is good enough for me.
What a freakin' train wreck this is. The interviewer's mumbles are nearly unintelligible, and he seems to be some sort of narcissist ego-maniac who thinks he's being funny/clever.

Haha, that's funny. But I'd say the interviewer can be as much of a narcissist egomaniac as the interviewee without my protest if he were to ever produce an album as fine as, for example, "Before and After Science".

This interviewer is a crappy excuse for a human being and I would be pleased to never hear or see him again in any shape or form.

don't know the interviewer. Don't want to know him. Barely present the interviewed person. Not funny. Dumb. Not funny. Poor use of technology.

How can a genius like Eno tolerate an fame worshiping imbecile such as Morley? Morley hadn't realized that his 15 minutes of fame had long past.
