@corthew no I was just trying to give crazy horse credit. Many people gave others on youtube here a hard time for simply crediting Rod with the song, when he just did a cover of it, original was done by crazy horse.. or something.

Yeah, after Rod had his bout with throat cancer his singing style have changed drastically.

Is he doing the smoother songs because his vocal cords can't handle the intensity of his older songs?

@corthew he had throat cancer? I didn't know that! I donno, I have seen him do songs like Maggie on youtube here dated to 2009, sounded good (shrug) I assume you could be right, it may also be that he simply likes the older stuff like me and it sells well to his generation. He's made like 5 CD's all covering love songs from the 1950s and stuff.
