  • oh so timely and bittersweet.

  • Took me about 15 years to track this song down. Heard it on one of my old BMX videos. Have searched the web for years, finally found it. I remembered the words for all these years. Amazing work!

  • I always wanted to be a musician since I was a teenager, I cant overstate how important this band were for me

  • Weak and Despised are two great albums!

  • Best song about vacuous American greed ever written

  • goooood song

  • woow...cool song!!

    i like so much!!!

  • heh, these guys ound really urban i would never guess they are from spanaway, since they are from spanaway you would think their songs would be about meth and dirt bikes hahaha.

  • Poster... can you please post magic mountainman like you did this one?? PLEASEEEEEEEEEE

  • Weird... I haven't listened to this band, but I live in Spanaway.

A small small small town in Washington State that I would NEVER expect to be talked about. O.O Pretty cool song though.

  • @ExistanceIsFutile23 haha you live in a tweaker town, but i suppose yelm is worse.....

  • i got this disc at vallue village! who give that album away!

  • great music got lost in a time warp

  • This is the official album of my teenage years !

    SO GOOD!

  • Was just thinking about how much I loved this song in my youth. Wanted to look it up and am happy it is here on youtube.

  • Please google Able To by Eternal Summers. It's totally the same chords same style. pLeaSe do this...

  • Spanaway is on my all time top 10 albums. Beautiful. I also recommend Nada Surfs' "Let Go" album.

  • WOW! i missed this song. thanks for posting this!

  • This is a Classic Pacific Northwest "Runner".

Heavy-Duty Game with lyrics that set it up.

Everyone who's "cool" can relate and "feel" this one.

  • This is their APEX! I gigged to Four, but this was their best. It was the Apocalypse within the songs that drew me. "Magic Mountainman" and "Last Humans" describe exactly where I would be, and what I'd do, when, and if, it comes...

  • --dope song!!!!!--

  • next to kid candy this might be the best song they ever wrote.

  • Agreed man !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kid Candy is for sure one of their best songs.

  • hey what about crush us all??

  • I'd love to see the video for this song. The director captured the mood pretty well.

  • thank you. I miss this song

  • I FUCKING LOVED this song man, wow, indie rock back in the day.

  • Funny thing is, we said "alternative" instead of "indie" back then.

  • Not all of us. I've always loathed the term "alternative" ... too vague and too much of a catch all. Plus, "aternative" was just too damn trendy of a term. Sad we have to strive to label everything in the first place.

  • Heh, you could easily say the same thing about "indie" nowadays.

  • Too true my friend.

  • Actually in Nor Cal, this was actually called indie rock. Indie rock was music that was not in the alternative scene but may have benefitted from the interest in Alternative. You wouldnt see these guys with like, screaming trees for example. But bands like Sloe, Samiam, Several Girls Galore, man I think Blink was considered Indie when they signed to cargo. Some indie bands overlapped with skate rock guys, and both these forms led to Emo,sadly. You can see the roots there.

  • i did see Seaweed with Screaming Trees, they toured the UK together in 1996! :P

  • i'm from spanaway, they named there cd after a big time drug town.
