sadly i can't even get the English patch to work. the opening menu is fine but the game crashes or no words at all will appear in the menus

You don't use applocale with the game, nor do you have your language settings to japanese do you ?

Saddly, this game works only with the language settings set to japanese, applocale is useless.

@ZenebL So i tried playing this game, and it crashed when i chose some menus, such as options. and there was no text in the dialogue, and the game crashed eventually as well.

I know that i need to change my PC's language settings to Japanese, but i've seen that some people experienced different problems, and just to make sure i wanna ask, is changing my PC's language the correct way to solve my problems?

@14mobius I can't say changing your language setting will resolve any problem, just that not changing it will result in your game crashing at the begining.

People who doesn't want to change the language setting might think about using applocale, sure, it will allow you to play a few match... until you meet Cirno, making your game crash for i don't know what reason, maybe because of this special character applocale can't recognize, that circled nine.

Having experienced it firsthand, changing my language setting was the correct decision.

I gave the same advice to people who had the same problem and received close to 100% positive feedback.
