there are 2 grape flavours at Al Fakher (means the sumptuous in arabic): dark red box called Premium, and the Classic (light green box shown in the video). they taste different. and I got the classic one two months ago, and it is still the same. the message in red at the end of video is a rumor.

Al Fakher is made in the UAE not Egypt.

the false red message and the pronounciation as a swearword of the brand name show that your advises are not exempt of personal interest in this story.

just came back from the smoke shop. just got a 50g pack of this stuff, and i gotta say, it's not terrible as people are sayin it is. it smells REALLY fucking good (almost bit into the thing xD). clouds are pretty big, but the flavor isn't as strong as it smells; it's kinda subtle. i dunno though... i'm hearing al fakher is starting to make their shisha more on the dry side... maybe they got a bad batch? mine's pretty fucking juicy. still not as flavorful as, say, fumari's though.

And.. i love your review =D makes me wanna smoke the perfect tobacco mix: Rose and Mint.. try it! Al Fakher Rose and Mint.. believe me it will be great! Take about 70% Mint and 30% Rose ;)

@Zelcibot They are just two names for the same thing - hookah is the most common name in English, but many Danes say "water pipe" because they translate it directly from "vandpibe".

I would recommend using two coals and keeping them at the edge of the head, rotating them slightly every 5-10 minutes. When they are mostly burned, you can move them a bit towards the middle. Also, only use clay heads. Metal heads heat up too quickly and burn the shisha.

I just bought a 250g tin of Al Fakher "grapes" (yes, with an s). The box is orange, and I have never seen or heard of it before. It's imported directly from Al Fakher though, and on the packing it says "packing for export". The tobacco definitely looks high-quality though, and looks very much like other Al Fakher I've seen / tried.

The taste is great as well, and it makes large clouds of smoke. Have you heard of this before?

Hey, ho! Nice review, I wish I could buy this tobacco, but here in germany its really hard to get the "original" tobacco of Al Fakher or Starbuzz or something like that. The reason why is: The tobacco in the EU contains only 5% of damp. Thats really annoying. You have to import it but it´s too expensive. 50$ = 1 tin of Starbuzz.

I´m currently smoking the Havana Maracuja. Great taste (very sweet) and perfect smoke!
