It amazes me how much different he looks now than back in the day, I honestly barely see the resemblance, I mean, I could never imagine that this is the guy that did all that acting and craziness on stage in the 70s. He is an amazing person though.

considering he's been in music for over 40 years he's actually quite young. I know a lot of faded "heavy metal" icons still out there plugging away embarrasing themselves around the same age...quite pathetic - they hardly show any new ideas or interests..not the same with Peter Gabriel - still fresh, innovative and relevant.

simply put if their is a god on earth his name is peter gabriel the talent this man has is simply incredible not just for his music but for womad and all of his other amazeing accomplishments he has done . when does he sleep it always seems that he is either helping with some cause , or on the brink of bringing the future to us before it's time he truely is an inspiration I have followed his career ever since I first heard him back in 1977 when I was 6 years old he is my hero for so many reasons

I had to write an essay in 12 grade on `who is your hero and why`. mine was long descriptive A+ for my Description, Artistic Ability and Devotion on Peter Gabriel. Got the rare occasion to say Hello and shake his hand at the Tower Theater in 1977, Philadelphia, PA. An absolute unforgettable moment in my life.
