  • I love the Power Ballad setting. It gives you those nice Neal Schon 80's clean tones.

  • I didn't hear the damn fat solo setting correctly, he should've let some individual notes ring out longer to show the raw power of the pedal

  • 3:29 ''slow down the rape''? ^.-

  • I know it sound stupid, but what does Bypass mean

  • @blackwidow88812 How the pedal affect the sound without being engaged

  • @blackwidow88812 bypass means before engaging the pedal.. ;)

  • "Well there you haved!"

  • Excellent demo, BK!!

  • can i get the background music to this video please?

  • @zachlava 1,000,000 miles away-Zakk Wylde

  • just ordered mine, paid £10 more so it comes tomorrow!!!!!!

  • This guy can't with a distorted chorus... Sounds like SHHH...

  • As far as actual sound or whatever goes(not taking money into perspective) which do you guys think sounds better, MXR ZW38 or MXR M-134 Stereo Chorus?

  • Dude, it makes the sound jump out! I love it!

  • Is this the same effect as the M-234 analog chorus in a different enclosure?

  • @miamigroove pretty much.you're just paying for the name.

  • @miamigroove the black label chorus is cheaper tbh kinda weird well its like that in ireland :P

  • the power ballad setting sounds great

  • I’ve been using this chorus for a few months and really like it. It really thickens out distorted tones. It can be in your face when running direct or subtle through the effects loop. I prefer the subtle approach for just adding texture. I have a few fancy boutique chorus padels that sound great when playing clean. But none of them look as cool as the Black Label!

  • How does this compare to other choruses in general? Is this pedal legit? Does it give off good tone

  • does this work for bass guitars?

  • A little repetitive... "All analog circuitry, bucket brigade technology, warm analog chorusing"

  • I love you Zakk but I'm gonna have to stick with my MXR stereo chorus...figures I would dish out 150.00 for a chorus pedal than have him come out with one 1/3 of the price right after.

  • Anyone else think the clean "power ballad" tone sounds similar to Dio's Last in Line? Haha.

  • @DJParkesie959II I bought this just for that song xD

  • @TheVeryAngryGoose : Haha, I knew it! =D

  • is it bypass???

  • @TheMusicDude1997 yes true by pass

  • The Black Label Chorus is sort of a rip off the boss CE-5 that zakk used, this might be better, i'd have to compare them in person, AND the Zylde Overdrive is sort of a rip off the Boss SD-1, only a lot smoother.

  • awesome :)

  • The first example sounds like something from Metallicas Death Magnetic

  • PLEASE KILL THIS PRICK!!

  • Think I'll get this for the stage-ready LED alone. Can't wait!

  • @SpiritLevelBubble The Fullbore Metal also has the same LED. It also provides a distortion that can be suitable for anyone, regardless of genre.

  • which is better this or the micro chorus?i honestly cant decide and would like some different opinions on both of em!

  • @bumsex4me this one is better, because you have more options on it, so you can customise it to suit your style better

  • AWESOME! just ordered mine. S.D.M.F.

  • I own this pedal...and i can honestly say its the best chorus out there for the money...

  • First chorus ever, that I personally like.

  • @Kubakpsv Same as fore me :D

  • c'est une véritable tuerie !

  • Beautiful chorus! Nice warm sound and good looking as well!

  • i was eye-ing this a couple months back when i ordered online, unfortunately they ran out of stock..heehee

  • i like how he plays a guitar

  • Agreed most signature stuff sucks, they usually say they will emulate artists' sounds but just look at the Wylde overdrive, it doesn't emulate anything, it's just an overdrive pedal that works the way Zakk Wylde wanted it. I think Dunlop and MXR are doing a good job with their signature stuff. (my friends got the digitech clapton crossroads pedal, sounds like shit, not really useful for anything, this on the other hand looks way better than the boss chorus pedals, constructed better at least)

  • @lesshowerrings - yeah, I agree. MXR & Dunlop gear is great, but the whole artist things get tedious... from ANY company. Zakk used to use a BOSS SD-1... I wonder if his sig o/d is just the same thing with a new paint job?

  • @tony93666 Well he probably got rid of some mids or something like that but you are correct. I wouldn't buy something just because it's got some guy I like's name on it but this pedal? Analog circuitry, true bypass, more tone shaping capabilities and a better swtich than the boss chorus pedals, all at a pretty cheap price, I'm probably gonna buy this (I don't even like Zakk wylde that much lol)

And no I don't work for dunlop or mxr unfortunately.

  • @tony93666 Sorry if that came off as a rant, I really wasn't disagreeing with you on anything ;) just adding some more to my comment.

  • God! Its f'n AMAZING!!!!!!!!

  • I like the how the lightning bolt effects were made.

  • I don't get the people that don't want to buy something because it's somebodies signature gear. So freaking what? Does that change anything about the device?

Anyway, it seems to be a cool pedal, nice looks, tone, true bypass and a relatively low price.

  • @veers0r - yeah, 'sig gear' usually means the same thing at higher prices... I wouldn't buy anything with Wylde's name on it due to the scam he was a willing part of - then claimed he didn't know anything about, despite posing for photos and running the thing from his own website(!), all the while filing a lawsuit to get his cut of the dough... yeah, right.

  • umm, dual outputs do not equal stereo...reference the kfk eq....great pedal though.

  • @rodie1994 It technically is stereo in it's most basic form

  • the demos are so much better. i actually want to buy this now lol

  • i bet it's great! ZW FTW

  • This Pedal Sounds Nice and I Like the Arrangement of the 5 Knobs but i don't Like Signature Stuff, it's Like a step to Get Zakk's tone! But I Like to Get Eviscerator's Tone, My Own Signature Tone!

  • @DrEviscerator666 He probably uses the stereo chorus anyway -- that's what I use, and you can get SOOO many different vibes out of it. Plus the signal path is split which sends the effect through BOTH lines -- to bounce the chorus to two different amps.

  • what's the diferent between mano or thru outputs?

  • cant they just make it true bypass?

  • ......can this pedal do pinch harmonics?

  • @HackerGuitarist its a chorus pedal. so if you can hit a pinch right then it should work. but its not gonna make you hit a zakk harmonic or something like that

  • @HackerGuitarist Pedals don't do pinch harmonics. You do. That said, I think what you really mean is, "Will this pedal enhance or muffle my pinch harmonics?" If you're doing your part, you'll hear the harmonics just fine. It shouldn't muffle them.

  • @HackerGuitarist

    No. But you can.

  • @HackerGuitarist ,The One That Make the Pinch Harmonics Is Your Thumb and Pick! But the Chorus Boost The Octaves and Harmonics on the Guitar and Make Them Sound Wicked and Insane When You Do Them. Though if you don't know the technique to do the pinch harmonics, you ain't getting nowhere.

  • @DrEviscerator666 jeff beck does those with his fingers, no pick. So do I.

  • @HackerGuitarist your GUITAR is what does artificial harmonics

  • @CaldaroneRyan

I think he was just kidding you know, Zakk Wylde? throwing pinch harmonics here and there? anyone? no? ok..

  • @Shyuum Yeah, I thought that after posting. Mr Zakk does indeed overuse his artificial harmonics -- especially since his heavy gauge strings and dropped tuning bleeds thick rich tone, and his habit of over dubbing them a billion times.

Although I must say I enjoy a dirty chorus -- I'm pretty sure he actually used the Stereo chorus, or a boss one for a while. The dirty slow rate sound from "Perry Mason" is kinda cool. I played my Stereo Chorus through two dirty amps for a while.. very fun.

  • @CaldaroneRyan

You are very right about his last chorus pedal, He used a Boss Super Chorus for a while..

  • Wait...Are you serious?

  • @themthrashinkids ...........zak wilde doesn't have any problem getting pinch harmonics from this pedal,........... so can I

  • I was just playin' bro.

Naw, It just depends how good you are at doing em.

    You just need enough gain.
