Is it really played in 4th position? I tried it in 4th but it didn't sound too good. I'm assuming it's the quality of my bass.
Anyways, great video. I like how he puts emphasis into the solo rather than just playing it as a start of a round.

Amazing Mahler solo! I love how he plays it like a solo piece instead of an excerpt, the sound really speaks to the listeners.
