Funny...some people think about cheating...and actually do it..not worrying about how the other person is going to feel..Hoping that they won't get caught. ..Such a violation of the trust .. the innocent partner is left wondering why? Cheating has nothing to do about the other woman/man...it has everything about being insecure in their relationship..and wanting the easy way out.......How sad.....once a cheater....always a cheater. Sadly, I know.
A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand
THIS is what country music is all about...i think a most contemporary "country" musicians have lost touch with their musical roots..pop has taken over...thank god for singers like gretchen wilson who remind us what honky tonk music sounds like!
Personally I don't think that she should be putting herself in that kind of situation at all. The fact that she's letting some guy buy her champagne, dance with her and whisper in her ear is a pretty stupid position to put yourself in. There is no point in even opening yourself up to that kind of temptation, especially when you're lonely. The sentiment to the song is great, but I think the situation should at least have been something innocent, instead of as irresponsible and risky as that was.

If you are in a committed relationship, you shouldn't even hang out around people that you know would want you to cheat on your significant other. The LAST thing in the world that you should do is allow them to buy you drinks and whisper in your ear...
