They operators can set custom games at both and can set a game to run exactly like the other one. btw in Laser Tron's team free for all you can tag ur team mates but you both lose points. At laser quest they usually don't let you tags team mates (team tags is an option in game set up)
Iv played both also and its hard to compare them, Every laser Quest location is a different size and layout. As far as the games go they both can run similar games, both can do teams or not. and some larger laser quest locations do have bases. Both usually mainly run one game type for public games. Here laser quest usually runs a free for all game & the Laser Tron runs a team free for all, (last time i was at laser tron the bases were off and you couldn't shoot them.
Lasertron does sound more fun...however i'm not completely sold! haha but would it still be as fun if you only went with like a group of four or you and another?? I mean you might get paired up with people you didn't know that was there to play too...and that sucks!! And Which place is cheaper or has more play time??
@MsRoJo16 That is a risk, but I think you can talk with the guy running it and tell him to put you and whoever together. We had a large group that was split up and it was still fun. Idk which is cheaper, but I think Lasertron was longer for the price you pay.
We used to have a place called Q-Zar where I live but they shut down, now the only place to laser tag is at Wahooz (formerly known as Boondocks). They're both team oriented, but the rooms are so small it's hard to use any sort of stealth or team work. Plus little kids always have the advantage because they're so short they can hide in the fog.
I just got home from paintballing. . .My friend was sick, But still went. Now I want to go airsofting because the guns are more real looking. Get better soon!
@zafy2 Yeah, I paintball. I've never airsoft'd. I have a friend who likes it more than paintball though. I don't care so long as I'm shooting something. haha Thanks!
@ThatBlondeRebel yeah, not a lot of cities have both. We here in Memphis are pretty luxurious when it comes to lasers. There are many different locations for both though. Laser quest is cool so if one is near you, I suggest finding a friend and going. Thanks!
