When my Japanese teacher teaches our class she speaks normal speed, only when we don't understand something will she say it slower. Listening to you talk so slow is.. idk.. weird for me.

@qtinorange the JET programme or different companies in english speaking countries or in japan send people over for 1 or more years. This is necessary as Japan wants to raise their english level but lack sufficiently competent and knowledgeable local people in terms of english. This is teaching as they are only beginners and young. also, language teaching in japan emphasises the grammar-translation method and preparing for high school and university entrance tests. they are trying to change it.

they all wear indoor shoes in schools in japan.

usually they stay in the same classroom, only going to other places for gym, or chemistry etc.
