Do you know how to FLASH ASUS Striker Extreme BIOS 2002 to 1305, i tried but no luck. renamed 1305.bin (downloaded from ASUS) to 1305.rom but didnt worked can help me for the same...
On a £3 CPU cooler (I'm guessing that's how rubbish it is) it's a cheap Foxconn CPU cooler, my CPU stays (C2Q Q6700) at 19C constantly in BIOS, Idle, and in-game.
GPU Idle (Around 25-30% Fan) 28C In-game max is 31 or 32C (still on Auto-Fan). Sapphire HD 5770 (New Edition) - Much better cooling than 5770 reference.
Nope, watercooling without water, the pump was accidentaly disconnected so I threw myself at the powerswitch and saved the CPU =) ...lol
But I somehow managed to kill it a year later when I was lapping the surface with an electric grinder... (clumsy) but at least I had the chance to get a E8600 for 110$ =) which is really sweet!
DFI currently have the highest rate of RMA'd boards as a dfi owner i have rma'd 3 boards in the past year and also my rampage formula dominates my dfi x38 board
i did that to my broken p5e its real.fuck i cant see if anything happens because the pinks at the socket are down xDDD.i am gonna buy an asus rampage formula
Does the ROG logo animation work for you? My BIOS just starts up with the ROG logo there. Then the flash comes and highlights the ROG logo and then I can press delete to enter the BIOS.
Theres supposed to be a fancy animation with the red part of the ROG logo coming together with the black part of the ROG logo. It only works on my HDTV, not my monitor.
there is no real difference between the maximus and rampage except for the bios. x38 vs x48 is merely a binning process, and myself being a owner of both chipsets, i have always gone back to my modded maximus. oh and you are all welcome.

Board temps never leave 33C. (P5Q Premium).
