@bfnfamily Really, Clark was much more independent and confident in all of S4 with the introduction of Lois. They should have kept that theme going in Seasons 5, 6, and 7!

The show started with Clana and they felt thay had to have this "epic, doomed" lovers ending which mimicked their tortuous relationship while. The problem is that the Clana "love" story never rang true for me based on the way they treated each other, or I should say, mistreated each other. They did a better job with every pairing on the show EXCEPT Clana!
