its a ternary pulse... listen to kensedeni first... and then you notice its pam pedam from any dunumba rythm... then according to sangban, i'll suggest its "bando"...

Many rythms has similar feeling and names but  played in different West Africa tribes,with a little different style.

I do enjoy the music. I also play it so I need to know what is being played. It turns out that the phrase is 8 slaps over sets of 3 pulse beats - a very nice sliding rhythm is produced.

Check out the phrase at 03.33 - reckon it's working on the 12 pulse?....count again...11 slaps there. The second falls on the one giving the phrasing & 1 2 3 4 & 1 2 3 4 5. I'm hearing the 3 as being ever so slightly delayed. What do you think?
