Pure JOY to watch/listen to this group, and they're the most JOYFUL musical group ever seen/heard! Just watched their Mt. Rushmore concert on PBS and fell in love. Makes you want to go to Lakota country and don feathers and buckskin! :-) Just the BEST. So inspiring! And Nicole, on the flute, is absolutely fantastic--amazing energy and virtuoso skill!

Nicole is unbelievably talented on the flute. In past songs I've noticed the breathing being fairly noticeable while she is playing the flute. She does have to breathe. Because of the breathing being obvious, I think Nicole has tried to make it part of the effect of the music and I think she does a superb job of doing that. I don't know about you, but I've not seen anyone playing a classic flute that can make it sound like a native flute. Nicole, you're simply amazing.

The breathing noise in this song is intentional and is probably used to simulate something. She is a phenomenal flutist (at times can be a little overblown) but I have seen them in performance many time and know the breathing isn't usually like this so I can only assume it is for effect.

A truly inspirational group, I saw them 2 weeks ago at Mt R and met them after their set and played their Mt R CD all the way across SD, Wyoming and Nevada and into CA - great for those endless miles on I80.

Love Nicole's flute playing but I don't forget the others it's a great blend of culture and modern instrumentation.
