Agreed, they ruined a GREAT car (I may be biased because I own an '89 300TE and a '95 E320 Cabrio) for no good reason. Everyone knows the 124 was a great car, they don't need to destroy a nice example of one, plenty of shit ones out there.

If you want to see how well the car takes a beating, put 4 people plus gear in it, and drive fully loaded through South America for a week or two. High speeds, high altitudes, bad gas and bad roads, that will tell me something useful about how it performs. Do a real show in the real world you cunts!

i own one of these with 2,5 diesel (no turbo). 580.000 kms on the clock, but i suppose there is much more there (in hungary the car dealers are usually reving back the km-clocks). some oil is pouring, but it still starts like a charm. love the car, hate this bitch
