most police officers are a bunch of sadistic pricks, so it goes without saying that the most in the nypd RELISH senselessly beating peaceful protesters whenever the opportunity arises. It's sad really, because when you think about it, these people were here to protest in earnest against high level executives that they feel are stripping the country of jobs, and what they are getting instead is yet another brutal dose of reality, that most police are corrupt.

Those ppl being arrested had to do something wrong to get arrested, because I see a lot of civilians walking by and even taking pics, but they're not getting arrested. Given that fact, It's extremely hard to believe that they weren't arrested for NO REASON!! They probably did something other than peaceful protests and got themselves arrested.

what hurts is listening to people calling for help...because the people who should come when you call for help are hurting them. and hey, i'm far from naive about the police. i know there are good cops and bad cops. it's the nature of a job that puts people in authority over others that it draws both caretaker/good shepherd personalities and sadists and/or sociopaths.
