this wasn´t after the end of seinfeld it was when jerry and george started to write the sitcom in season 4 of seinfeld but one thing that is not clarified is that the guy from mad about you asks " hey what ever happend to that jerry guy that USED to live here ? " implying that jerry no longer lived there, so it makes no sense

This was a good show, mad about you, one of the few relationship shows that wasn't too lame and was pretty funny. It lost a bit towards the end with Hunts emotional crap but still funny.

Not really. Kramer just made an appearance on this one episode of Mad About You. It's was probably done because it was Mad About You's first season and Jerry Seinfeld and Paul Reiser are friends.
