I have a stallion out of hiim. He was a 250,000 dollar keenland yearling purchase. I got him as a 6 year old after he had been bred and then gelded. He is my potential rolex horse never did anything at the track but hopefully will my a great event horse

Not the reason that this hoss was shut down b4 his prime, happens all the time, sadly. Can you imagine this hoss in the Classic as a friggin 5 YO. Mnus Pool City!

Fusaichi Pegasus is a textbook example of what's wrong with racing.

There's nothing here that suggests that he's a superhorse - which was sadly confirmed in the Preakness. Yet some mark decides to pay a ridiculous amount to retire him to stud and he's retired from racing. His pratfall in the Breeder's Cup Classic was an appropriate end to his unremarkable career.

One of the most overrated horses in recent memory.

I would disagree, you must understand the odds of a horse a winning Kentucky derby, 99.99% of the foals that are born will never race in the derby, therefor you must appreciate every derby winner, Fusaichi Pegasus never needed to win even one race, from day one he was called a great horse simply because of his pedigree, his sire line owns the Triple Crown, and people will always pay attention to that
