First off thanks for bringing up something I said 8 months ago, the health care bill was not even on the horizon at that time. But as of today I think the health care bill is a disaster and will only help the insurance companies, earlier bills were much stronger. And I do pay taxes not in your country though, nd even I don't pay to much because I am a student and recieve good tax breaks

News flash genious. Canada has socialized healthcare. Patients are put on waiting lists for major surgery. Canadians come here all the time to get there healthcare. Wrong i can speak from personal experience, I have had three major procedures I never waited never paid out of my pocket. Canada spends 10% GNP on health care US spends 19.5%. Canada's system is not perfect but it is far better than you have. I should have known you were a right wingnut.

I am quite happy with our health care system, it is good to know that no matter what you have you will be covered. My mother has made a full recovery from breast cancer 2 years ago, my brother has broken his arm twice, and my granfather has gone through a plethora of procedures for two abdominal aneurysms which was if left untreated would have been fatal so ya I am thankful for our healthcare system

pill. Costs 10 times that here. Funny thing, the

packaging is the same, same company, etc.

sources make that claim on a daily basis. If you listen to Hannity or Beck, they constantly harp about death panels, rationed health care, etc. in

Canada. I have lived in several other countries

and I can tell you from first hand experience, our

health care delivery system is pretty inferior. Yes we do have some of the best doctors in the world but then Mexico has some of the

finest water in the world too. Just don't drink

it out of the tap!

-the MSM doesn't tell the entire story, they interpret it for you...stop relying on them!

-everyone is going to be paying more...for everything! stop sticking your head in the sand

-check your sales receipt next time you make a purchase and check out the taxes & then tell me that payroll taxes are the biggies

-I was willing to give BO a chance...that was until he spent more $ in 60 days then in 232yrs of America thereby costing many generations to come

I think that tea-parties are being seen as "conservative" venues for many reasons:

-watching the MSM,people are not getting the full gist of the scale of taxation

-thinking that taxes are going to be pushed onto the "rich" (where many think they belong) they do not realize that the the wool is already over their eyes

-alot of people only see taxes in terms of "payroll" or "income" taxes and don't see the broader picture

-there are many that are still on the "give obama a chance" bandwagon
