We lost a precious nephew to cancer. It is a terrible illness. He fought it the best that he could ,but his body finally gave up on him.The best part about it was , he assured all of us that he was saved and knew he was going to heaven to be with the LORD. He was a brave soul till he was called home. Endured pain like no one that I have ever seen. His dream was to build a home ,which he was in the process of doing, when he passed away. A really close friend of my family passed away last year from a heat stroke, he was only 23 years old, he really was a good ol' boy in every sense of it, he never did drugs, worked straight out of high school and was an accomplished young man.. My Grandpa past away a couple days ago. His name was Terry Nelson, this song was played at his funeral. It fits him so good. At least he is in a better place. I love and miss him so much. He was actualy my step grandfather but he will always be Grandpa to me.

this was played at my mamaws funeral in may and when i hear it i cant help but cry...she didnt deserve to die and the ambulance that took her to the hostpital killedd her cause the took her oxygen mask off for 30 minutes or more... she died a couple of days after her birthday..the last time i saw her she had brusies and cuts from the hostpital and i wil forever miss her and cant wait for the day i see her again:(

A really close friend of my family passed away last year from a heat stroke, he was only 23 years old, he really was a good ol' boy in every sense of it, he never did drugs, worked straight out of high school and was an accomplished young man.. If he left a piece of himself with each of us when he passed the world would be a better place to live...

My Grandpa past away a couple days ago. His name was Terry Nelson, this song was played at his funeral. It fits him so good. At least he is in a better place. I love and miss him so much. He was actualy my step grandfather but he will always be Grandpa to me.

Me personally, I think it's one of the most beautiful and touching songs ever written.
