Funny, that's what people said about Sampras after he won Wimbledon in 2000. He stuck with it and won another US Open two years later in 2002. Fed's not done yet, he still has a couple more Slams in him. He just needs to hire a coach. If you think about it, there are only 3 players out there that have been able to beat him, Nadal, Djokovic and Murray. Plush he's still the #2 of Clay, and probably #1 on grass regardless of his loss at the All England. He'll be in the other three Major finals.

I doubt he'll ever win the career slam, Nadal is just too good on clay, but he'll certainly be in the finals, like I said, and in the finals at the All England Club. The US Open I think is a toss-up. When Nadal beat him at the Australian it was the first time he beat him on a hard court, but even that was pretty close. Correct me if I'm wrong though, wouldn't Murray have to be seeded #4 at the US Open to face Fed in the Semi's there, as the first four seeds are each placed in one bracket?

So if murray continues to play great tennis it will be him and fed in the bottom. I never liked Lendl in his active years, but you got to respeckt Lendl for regaining number one in 1989-1990 after loosing it in 1988. So far it does not look like Federer is going to do so.
