sigh, all the biggest modern gaming outlets have their own "red ring of death" so its wrong to call out the 360 on it, the ps3 has the yellow light of death, wii has a certain error code of death and maybe even dies if u leave it off in a certain way 4 too long(dont qoute me on that one its just something i heard), 360 has red ring of death, and the PC has the blue screen of death, they all have something "of death"

The xbox 360 is great for online gameplay and voice commuications. The wii is great for it's orginal features and consle sellings. The ps3 is great for it diffrent varity of features.....or something like that. all these consles are great in their own way. But in my opinion, either though they have a TON of problems with their consle, Xbox 360 is in my opinion, better than the wii. I can't say the same about the PS3, because I don't own one.

@JeffandStephenshow Tbh, I own all three consoles, and i spend most of my time on the XBox out of all. Last gen every single game was made for the PS2 and ported to the XBox. This gen, all games are made for the XBox 360 and ported to the PS3. Have you noticed that the original XBox, AND the PS3 have been late to the market? that makes a big difference.

I was thinking of getting a PS3 or Xbox 360, but the Xbox has the Red Ring of Death (you can't play games with that, a gaming console that can't play games is CRAP!) and Xbox Live sucks money (Why I don't like World of Warcraft.) I have a Wii, it's great! I have fun when I play it! Wii has Mario, Zelda and Super Smash Bros. I might get PS3 for Final Fantasy, free internet, Sonic Unleashed 1.5 and some other things.

Wii + PC is a good combination, I mean, hey, if you can write me back a comment, you must have a PC or a Mac or something. I play Team Fortress 2 on my PC, I don't need to pay more than $30, for XBox Live, I have to pay for months and I hate WoW for that. I don't even need online to play most of my games, Sonic Unleashed? Brawl is fine the way it is. Any Zelda game? I don't like the kiddie stuff either, but it still has good games. The first Xbox1 games the 360 could play was Halo and Barbie.

I have all free wifi/ wireless internet games that work for free (psp, wii, computer, and Ds.) There all more than a year old but their perfectly fine. Plus i'm with you. For you, you can still download emulators and ROMs if you can figure it out and have space (NES, SNES, Gameboy, any console before N64 is easy, it's legal if you own a copy of each game) you can play it all you want without spending a dime.TF2 has sucky strangers, but hey, I'm not getting my money sucked because of it, I got it for free (the game was only $30) and the poor XBL and WoW players have to pay for the same crap I got for free. I can play Mario whenever I want, no monthly charge. :)

For backward compatibility, the X360 needs to download patches, you could only play Halo and Barbie Horses from the start. Ohh, Nintendo's SO kiddie, they can't play Halo and BARBIE without patches. Yep, Brawl, Zelda Twilight Princess, and Red Steel are little kid games, and Halo and Barbie Magical Horses are for the hardcore adult gamers. XD

I have a PS2, anyway so PS3's BC problems aren't bad for me.

I think Sony are the best with gaming, Microsoft should stick to computers. Computer gaming is good sometimes though. It's just, a computer that could play a game better than the consoles could would cost a shitload more than the console would. The RROD can be prevented if you buy an Xbox 360 fan to plug into the back of it. cools down the fans, which generally causes the RROD.

And the reason why the Xbox Live is costly, it's because it has amazing games for live. Gears 1/2, Fable 2 Co-op, Halo, ect. Whereas the Wii and PS3 only have a few games you can play online and still have a good time such as Call of Duty, and that's pretty much it.
