Great stuff.. Can I ask a question though, what body mods did you have to do to get everything to fit. Initially my idea was to use a HS(R) or Opel Manta A rear end then use a Rover V8 linked to a T5 Gearbox. I was wondering if the package fits straight in or whether I'd need to modify the bulkhead, move servo etc etc..
Because it's a Vauxhall, Rover (ex Buick 215) V8's are cheap and readily available, unlike the CSB, and are small and very light. That means the car will actually stop and go round corners - not something you would need to consider on the wrong side of the Atlantic...
NB, I've owned SB powered cars and Chevettes - I certainly wouldn't combine them, even if it was an all alloy SB.
that is going to be a beast

Why not just use a Chevy 350 ? Since it's a Chevy body!
