Markku Alen, no fué nunca campeón de mundo, aunque pudo serlo en mas de una ocasión, de hecho en 1978 fué campeón de la copa FIA, es decir lo mismo pero con otro nombre. Tal vez no fué el mejor en su época, pero siempre estubo entre los mejores y, en Finlandia era inalcanzable. Para mi es el mejor.

He used to make stupid mistakes in the decisive rallies, that`s why he never got title. Nerves weren´t good enough.
