I think it very sad that there are people with so little going on in their lives, that they troll youtube looking for things they don't like and then write abusive comments about them... It would suggest that they actually do like the song/ tune or whatever but cannot come to terms with the fact....when was the last time YOU actually sort out something you disliked hearing on here... England has accomplished so much in history, yet our efforts are always degraded by other, jealous nations in events such as ww2, ww1 and the napoleonic wars. We have always come together in times of peril and always will. We were the backbone in the coalitions to defeat Napoleon and later, Hitler, yet nobody stopped us from ruling the world in the 19th and early 20th century :) Those who criticise England are just jealous, FACT

Having been to Murrayfield to witness a Scotland v England Calcutta Cup.
When Flower of Scotland was sung by the players and the crowd I have to admit to having tears in my eyes, to see the chests swell out with pride and patriotism was truly something to behold and I am English.
We English need Jerusalem to be our sporting anthem as soon as. God save the Queen should only be used when she is present.

As much as I respect and admire our Queen, the current anthem sounds weak and doesnt fill me with pride at all whereas this could bring a tear to my eye!
I mean, imagine this at a world cup game, before a match against Germany!

God Save the Queen should be the UK's anthem. Scotland, Wale and Northern Ireland all have their own anthems and I don't see why we shouldn't. This should be England's one. Imagine 80,000 odd people singing this to their hearts content at Wembley. THAT would send shivers down your spine.

I am an American but I love this hymn because it contains everything the politically correct crowd hates: love of Jesus Christ, love of country and a willingness to defend them both. Long we have been friends and partners with our cousins on the other side of the Atlantic in the cause of justice and righteousness. May hymns like this insire us to defeat the enemy within.
