@qvistenable You mean the scene from the Episode 2 trailer, right? Yeah, the Alyx was supposed to fall off the bridge at the beginning instead of getting stabbed by the Hunter. Valve later revised this and switched up the story because they felt that Alyx should have been atheletic enough to climb out of the danger. So no, in the official game there is no part involving Alyx falling off a bridge.

I haven't played Half life 2 yet, right now I'm playing the original one first. But the lightning the vortigaunts shoot seems different then the ones in g-mod. Is that something you can change in g-mod?

than in Hl2 because all they do in hl2 is blast lightning and in ep 2 they can grab , smash the ground , etc

I just played through this game, and I remember what I did when the vorts came. I was just fetching some ammo, grabbed a mine from a box and headed for the tunnel with three lights on it. "Three lights! Oh damn, oh damn..." I didn't hear the rebels saying it's the vortigaunts, and I just caught a glimpse of movement and tossed my mine at it, then opened fire with my smg. A few seconds later I stopped firing as I saw my friends emerging from the smoke...
