I agree with you that we hold the cards to elect our officials, however the direction of incrementalism that our president is leading us toward is radical (in a socialistic way, not totalitarianism). For example, health care should not be run by the government until they can prove they can run Medicare & Medicaid in a positive direction. They shouldn't be in control of my health or yours until they can, and the purposed plan of the public option run by the government will be 'rationed'.
The reason for the harsh word rationed, is that also in the Canadian system, there is only so many doctors/equipment in their system. It took my uncle 6 months to get an MRI scheduled and 6 more to get his results for the cancer. He is dead now, but if the government is in control of health care it will take longer, and if a case is severe, it could kill the patient before he receives treatment. I agree with you though that something needs to be done to reform health care, like tort reform.

I agree with you that we hold the cards to elect our officials, however the direction of incrementalism that our president is leading us toward is radical (in a socialistic way, not totalitarianism). For example, health care should not be run by the government until they can prove they can run Medicare & Medicaid in a positive direction. They shouldn't be in control of my health or yours until they can, and the purposed plan of the public option run by the government will be 'rationed'.

The reason for the harsh word rationed, is that also in the Canadian system, there is only so many doctors/equipment in their system. It took my uncle 6 months to get an MRI scheduled and 6 more to get his results for the cancer. He is dead now, but if the government is in control of health care it will take longer, and if a case is severe, it could kill the patient before he receives treatment. I agree with you though that something needs to be done to reform health care, like tort reform.

I know because my mother worked for a small firm that was researching biofuels made from corn byproduct (which is usually tossed). Nice video, I'm hispanic and long before for Obama becoming as big as he's now, i decided voting for him, a friend of mine told me about his plans and his visions for our country, and i was with him from the get go, so in november 2008, YES WE CAN is the answer!!! Barack Obama for President!

im sorry to say this but hope isn't a very good battle strategy to win the wight house. things like i don't know, Health care or fixing the economy thats a grate way to win the wight house. you can "hope" to win something but it doesn't mean your gonna get it. i hoped that clinton would wipe the floor with obama. i hoped and it didn't happen. so you see. you can hope all you want to but it doesn't work.

Hope is a good battle strategy, it's what we need now. Obama wiped the floor with Clinton and he is about to do the same with McCain. You have no faith in him, thats why you don't like him. You wait and see the great change that he will bring to this great nation and then you will understand.

Race debates like this are perfectly healthy for all of us.the problem with america was that it always felt ashamed of it and always tried to sweep it under the rug! how can an american talk so freely about the destruction of muslim countries, but race in the land where you live is a taboo topic? nothing wrong with talking it over!

The Constitition is the Rule of Law in America, if you don't like it then you are not American,.. just a poser instead, who is too stupid to understand this great document and is stuck in the racism of the past. Apply the Constitution to todays view of what an idividual is regardless of color, apply it to our flawed monetary system and a non interventionist foreign policy. All an all, it seems this whole topic is too complicated for your black and white limited brain.

Look, you seem more racist than the white people you are attacking. I'm not even white, I'm hispanic. Stay away from grouping people into genders or races... focus on the Constitution of the United States under today's view of what an INDIVIDUAL is.
Move on already, we are all equal and the Constitution sponsors it.
So, use neck breaking knowldege and answer the two questions a formulated regarding inflation and the Federal Reserve Bank.... you might want to look into the CFR too.
