thank this did help alot but what about when you have more numbers for ex. -t/5+7>-4 i understand multipling the 5 so that you have -t7>-20 but then im stuck

Actually, we want to start by subtracting seven from both sides.

(-t/5) + 7 - 7 > -4 - 7

(-t/5) > -11

Then we multiply by negative five on both sides to get the t by itself, remembering that we need to flip the inequality when we multiply by the negative on both sides.

-5(t/-5) > -11(-5)

t < 55

That means any number less than 55 put in for t should result in a true inequality and it does!
