Damn....Ace is Badass!....He's the reason why I refuse to go see Kiss, Or what they call Kiss nowadays that is...It would be difficult to watch an imposter acting as Ace onstage with Kiss. No thanks
I was there but they announced twice "no cameras by ACE's request". I had a good spot I didn't want to move but was right near security. Great show, saw KISS in the arena there last Oct. also
I missed Kiss, but I'm glad I saw Ace in such an intimate atmosphere (the 2 other times I saw him was with Kiss in arenas)! As for the announcement, Ace is either obligated by the record company to have that announced (so no one makes $ off of his performance) or that his main concern was the distracting flashes of cameras! When I saw tons of people filming & taking pics of him, I figured I'd record a few myself...& I'm glad I was able to share it too, Ace absolutely rocked & people should see!
You're a lucky guy to have seen Ace so many times..seriously! I idolized the guy growing up & it was a "dream come true" to know (& document) that I was standing within 50 ft of the guy...I know, sounds completely silly, but hey... Rock on man! \m/
I heard this place was packed.Ace needs to get the Comet back together.Ace,Tod,John, and Anton if he could do it.I love to see a live show with Ace,Tod,John, and Peter Criss on drums.
@jplitch Todd was an awesome singer. And I really miss Frehley's Comet.I loved that band.Calling To You,Something Moved,Breakout,Time Ain't Runnin' Out were awesome when they played those songs live.Nothing against the new band, but how could you not miss hearing some of those Comet songs live.Ace should at least throw Insane and Into The Night back in the set list.
@sjdss Who said it was?I was saying how much I missed Frehley's Comet with Tod's awesome vocals. His vocals were awesome, especially on Breakout.Tod hasn't been with Ace since 1988.I was just saying how it would be awesome to see the Comet back together again.Ace,Tod,John, and Anton.
An awesome casino & a favorite place to hang (when we can get out..lol)! We're fortunate to live right down the road from it & this was an awesome show. Ace will always be an inspiration to me...rock n' roll!! \m/
@Earnhardt12345 Yeah, after taking a close look at the rhythm guitar player on your video response, it seems he did get a new guy. The guy jammed too! Ace let him take a solo after himself on an extended jam of Love Gun (didn't film it, I just wanted to enjoy the show by that point, lol).
@5150RDH The guitarist is Todd Youth, who played with Ace on his Australian tour and some other shows in the Spring of 2010. Todd is pretty much a legend in his own right, he's played with DGeneration, Murphy's Law, Danzig and a slew of other bands over the years. He is currently touring as part of Michael Monroe's band over in Europe.
I think Derrek Hawkins was a awesome rhythm guitar player 2 , saw them in 2008 & 2009 :-)

This guy is so far superior to Tommy Thayer (no offense to him) but it's the truth. It's the truth.

No argument here. I'm just pissed I didn't get any myself. There are a lot of ACE boot dvd's out there though. I own a few...
I saw solo ACE in '09, '07, '95, '92 and two or three times in the '80's

@5150RDH Yeah, I would not film the entire concert again. I spent most of my time trying film instead of watching the concert.
