It goes back to the main game of picking letters only this time it is radom & could be something you havent heard of. Getting to pick one additional letter for each day that you are on is sort of rewarding those that have been on the show for a long time. A car as the grand prize really made it worth it; especially for a game from Las Vegas. I may have known the word but Babette seemed a bit nervous & that's why she's going for a fourth attempt. You can be on the show 6 days before it's a givawa
I meant to say this as THE WORD being a dead givaway. After 7 days the word would pretty much be spoon fed to you since only two letters are out of place.
"Hollywood Squares" (1980-1981), "Las Vegas Gambit" (1980-1981), "Let's Make a Deal" (1976-1977), and "Burt Luddin's Love Buffet" (1999), have all videotaped from Las Vegas, NV, as well.

There were other Vegas-taped game shows: Dealer's Choice in the mid 70s, LMAD in 1976-77, Hollywood Squares in 1980-81 and Las Vegas Gambit in 1980-81 among them. Wheel taped some shows in Vegas a few years back, too.
There was an episode where this guy got a word with 1 letter. I think the word was GARGOYLES. CAN SOMEONE link me to that episode! THANKS

Actually, the most amount of shows a contestant can be on under this bonus round format is 8.

But even only 2 letters out of place can still be tough.

The bonus round here is very simple.

Honestly, I misheard her last name over the music. That's why I said Griffiths. If I find the correct information, I'll update.

I thought "Trump Card" was Vegas as well, but I looked it up and it was taped in Atlantic City...
