Love this song!!! Great song in honour of freedom fighters that fought their oppressors. many IRA volunteers and fighters had their combat or formal military training in the British Army, Irish Army, US Army, Canadian Army, Rhodesian Army, South African Army, and the French Foreign Legion. No one gets training like this off the street overnight.

Love Eire Og, shame they split. Seen them a few times in Dublin and in Glasgow. They played a lot of tunes you wouldn't have heard anywhere else due to politics and in fighting amongst the various groups. Lets hope there words ring through and we get what we've always wanted, a united Ireland. Catholic and Church of Ireland alike.
