I have to disagree with you Mickey Rourke was great in The Wrestler. He deserved it! Because of what you said that he said, I don't like him as a person, but as an actor, he was great! Milk was a great movie though!

What is wrong with this guy how could he hate mickey rourke i doubt he even saw the wrestler which was an amazing film and he never saw slumdog but thinks its good because it won so many awards and because the indian people are proud of it i saw it believe me its horrible it should not have been nominated for a single award this just proves that sometimes the globes votes for something that 's popular instead of good like with ugly betty or housewives.

That was great, thanks. Slumdog was not the best film of '08 IMO. Hope it doesnt get oscar. I really liked the movie, but still just dont think it was best movie. The direction was so funky and great. It had ALOT of personality and everyone involved should be proud.

Sally Hawkins was FANTASTCI along with elaine cassidy in fingersmith.

As for Rouke- i hate him as a person, but he deserved it- his performance was the best in the catagory.

i also think the tina fey show is overrated. i definitely believe it's one of the best comedies on tv but the office is a better overall show. i think tina fey gets the majority of female voters that's why they sweep the awards ceremony. tina does deserve the best acress award but steve carell deserves best actor instead of baldwin. Carell IS that show, while baldwin is second fiddle to fey on her show.

ugh, kate winslet is overrated as an actress. there are plenty of great actresses out there that dont get the attention they deserve because they dont look like supermodels. Winslet is popular because she gets every major role which requires an average looking woman, and she only gets those roles because of her posh british accent. it's the same situation with rachel weisz. trust me if they were both american, they'd just be another face in the crowd
