@Parrotluver2 The most straight forward way is to re-shoot an already existing still photograph with a video camera (ideally on a tripod). Simply zooming in/out will expand or contract the image on the photograph and tilting the video camera up or down and panning the camera left or right will give the image additional movement.
This song was a sleeper. I always loved it but it was not played that often.
I like the pictures of the telephone switchboards. In these days of electronic switches people forget, or never knew, about cord boards. Then there were the old boards with cord boys around the turn of the 20th century, who raced around the room with long cords to patch the calls through. Ernestine never had to deal with that. One ringy-dingy....
ah the star set! used to be one of those @$# folks who called for telephone surveys at the least convienient times and the big fringe benefit was the option to buy a star set to avoid using the older head set. the only good thing about the job was learning how to tell when youre being given a fake telemarketing pitch with a survey as a ploy. once you had experience doing legit surveys you could smell the fakes when you were called. as well as when you were dealing with a parrot calling a co
I really want to know the piano chords to this song. Well, really like how to play the actual words to the song on the piano. I can't find any on the internet. -___-
I had completely forgotten this song, but LOVE IT! And I LOVE the vid. You did good Bacmaster. I used 2 b a telephone Operator. I remember those damn switchboards. The 555, 770, cords everywhere, and those damn headsets that squeezed ur brains out! Then we went high tech, and here came Centrex! YES! And the "Starset", which kinda made you think you were on Star Trek! Great job! Thanx 4 posting. And 4 all u other "O"s out there, remember, old Operators never die, we're just put on hold.
@Bacmaster Cool. One last thing. I think the 5th line of the first verse is "I know you think I was untrue". It sounds like it to me, and it makes a lot more sense in the context of the song. Afterall if he thinks their love is true, then why would she need to explain anything and why would he want to hang up on her. I saw a lyrics site that had it your way, but those sites are very unreliable.
@rb62470 Directly below the video window when viewing in standard mode (such as the same mode for leaving comments) one can see the text [Show more] with a down arrow thingy, clicking on this will expand to "show more" and there you will find the lyrics, hope this helps
It would be a cool "music on hold" , or "please enjoy the music while your party is being reached" . My daughter says that Verison can do it 4 ya. I'm gonna check it out & I'll post the results. - Rick
