@Gos2 I think this was more an adult oriented cartoon anyway. It would take a pretty sophisticated kid to get the jokes (which were often the actual characters themselves). I think I watched it when it first came out and I was already in college then. It was hilarious to me simply because of the way it spoofed all the stuff I liked as a kid. And there is a lot of play on words and puns that kids don't pick up on until they get older. Like the Muppets, but even sillier!

its awesome to watch the series, and then read the comics. i mean this show pulls so much from the comics you always find little references and storyline's that get expanded on. its like watching a movie and loving it, only to read the book and find its even better.

Even my tv, which became a total idiot over tha past few years, knew the fact that this show was full of over dramatic parodies of other superhero shows. Difladre Mouse (or however it is spelled), the hero who is the Tick's rival, his name means"Bat Man" in German, or something along those lines
