an amazing example of the power of music. a scandinavian band performing in south america. look at that audience reaction to a band that has no stage presence whatsoever.... incredible.

THANK YOU DUCO1979 for this GREAT POST. this is far and away the best clip of this band out here. the band has had years to perfect the performance, its in black and white and the audience is wired. aha is a three piece, but this touring band is filled out with drums and lead guitar, both of which are FEROCIOUS here, but you really have to look and listen. the drummer is hardly shown, and the lead is way back in the dark. its mixed down, but listen to that riff starting at 3:30........SCORCH

2:57-3:20 is the best live version of the third and fourth chorus I have ever heard! Listen to those F#s, G#s and A4s! Especially at 3:19! Wow! I would not want that kind of volume in my house. (It would probably tear down a wall!)

In my opinion Morten Harket's voice is one of a kind. His is better than Roy Orbison if not the equal. His voice shows itself at 3:15. Roy Orbison was great, but in my opinion he never reached the "power" that Morten produced. Mr. Orbison is my vocal inspiration, but Morten drives me forward¨. Thank you a-ha.

What I said was that they both have a great voice. In fact, I said that while I liked Mr Orbison's voice alot, I feel that Mr. Harket could put more power and emotion into his voice at times, more wild abandon, which I really like about him and a-ha.

I love powerful vocals and both of them count as that.
