You can actually prevent characters from returning to the stage by using down strong. It traps any charater who doesn't have an uppercut recovery. Air dodging is extremely suicidal

Fox is cursed. I was playing against him as Sonic and when he grabbed the edge, I jumped in the air and used Sonic's up B. The spring hit the still hanging fox and Spiked him. I was left with a O_O on my face.

you do understand people are quick with psi thudner and the person gets hit by it instead and they can control meaning if they are really good they can survive dedede jumping to you. One more thing you are aware ness psi thunder is great when your enemys off stage? Best volleying projectile ever. I really think he has potential for good reasons thats all

It can't be meteor canceled because there is no meteor cancel in Brawl... Spikes can just be recovered from due to lower hitstun.

Well, if by power you mean damage, yeah. But Ness' down smash aerial has a longer stun and a faster knockdown than Gannondorf's, despite being a little weaker in damage. It's like Jigglypuff's forward smash. It does less damage than some smashes, but is actually has a more effective slice to it than a lot of other smash attacks.

Ness's yo-yo is one of the main reasons I use him. There's noting better than stopping an Ike quickdraw with a charging smash.

Actually, there is something better. Sending out a PK Thunder, circling it up towards the Ike from the back, then when he uses quickdraw bring the PK Thunder back to hit yourself and killing him at 50%. (:

Well, the Ike is going to recover with quickdraw, right? So you bring up the PK Thunder like you're going to hit him, but instead let him get by it and bring it around to hit yourself instead (and KO him with PKT2). Basic Ness mindgame...
