@21LOLCAT Why? Because it's set to Auto mode, not Manual mode. To get Manual mode, hold START when the boot screen for the DS comes on (this also applies to DS Lite). It will automatically go to the DS Main Screen.

I am still really confused...

I have looked at loads of ds Wi-Fi reviews, and i still don't understand. Do you have to have the cable plugged into your Ds and computer, so really you can only move within a metre or so of your computer? If someone could comment me back and explain things like that i would be greatful, as alot of the reviews have just said what to press. :) x

k well i you want to have wifi you need to have a router OR you can use a wifi usb connector, when you get the usb connector you obviously plug it in a usb port on ur pc and ur pretty much all set but when you buy the usb connector in comes with a cd that u install on ur pc ( you need windos xp for this) after that you can play and ect.. you need to keep with in 30 feet away from the usb connector in the usb port hope i helped
