  • where did you get the pickgaurd from, ive been looking everywhere

  • Great playing, like the sound of your fingers!

  • I have to ask this also. Where did tou get that pickguard?

  • @Sanetry

    I even drew the model.

    tks

  • Where did you get that Pickguard for thath bass? I really want one for mine!

  • I want this bass! It sounds so sick! I got to try one a little while ago... and i was sad to put it back on the rack...

  • I notice your Ibanez sr505 has a pickguard. Did you add that on or did come with the bass guitar? I've yet to see an Ibanez sr505 with a pickguard. I have this bass and they have an awsome sound due to the bartillini pick-ups.

  • @Cleatusbodean

That Pickguard was added to change the look somewhat.

  • @leomezzz It really looks cool did you have made or did you buy it somewhere? I hope you mind all these questions.

  • what do you think about this bass? should i get it?!

  • Hey there, no habla espanol amigo, would this bass be could for metal? Like metallica, pantera, judas priest, megadeth? and grunge, nirvana, alice in chains?

  • @plonski749

Hy, of course it can. All basses can be used for any musical style. This ibanez is perfect for the styles you mention. In very serious and metallic. Hugs

  • I didn't like this. I loved it.

  • What about the B string, it's not just a thumb rest! Seriously, you show off the tone well and the neck is superb , I play one!!

  • nao tinha certeza.

  • Esse ibanez aí é coreano?

  • @gchicoper

Po Grimc, claro, já sabias, né?!

    Abçs

  • You're really good dude! Keep up the good work!

  • @AppleSauceInvasion

Ok man, thanks for putting your opinion.

  • Puta Som, é original dele mesmo???

  • @saulinhotchan

    Olá amigo,

Sim, o som é original, dos captadores ADX 5 Alnico. Nesse época a Ibanez não usava Bartolini. Abç

  • Would you say this bass was to advanced for someone who is more then a beginner, but less then amazing who is planning to keep playing for as long as possible?

  • Very nice work my friend!

  • that doenst look like a sr505 to me...

  • @scared2mosh its a 1995

  • I got this bas about a week ago and it's awesome. Extremely comfortable and sounds amazing. My fingers actually don't hurt after hours of playing unlike before...

  • Did the pick guard come on that bass, or did you add it?

It looks nice and sounds great.

I have an SR700AM and love it.

    You're sounding great bro!

  • I'm lookin to replace the J's in my Ibanez, they're EMG designers or some bogus crap....which actually sounds like crap. What kinda pups are in your 505?

  • Pickguards these are the original ibanez the year 1995, the ADX5.

  • The Pickguards are the Ibanez, model ADX5.

  • :O why does it have a pickup? Did you put it yourself? It looks and sounds awesome! Kuddos.

  • Shit I meant pickguard xD of course it has pickups xDD

  • nice sound, will buy me one the next... but i don#t like slapping in such demos because the sound can be very deceptive...

  • i love such bass sounds!

this edgy slightly "buzzing" sound. great.

  • im gonna buy the 506 next week !!

    cant w8!

  • im kinda thinking of getting an sr 505, but im not quite sure.

please tell me if i should

  • You can buy without fear. It is a great bass.

  • thanks. the only other problem is that i cant find anywhere to try it out.

  • Its hard to take other peoples word on something like this but ive player one and was blown away. The SR505 is the most versatile basses out there for the price. Im a bit of a metal head so thats what i use it for but the guitar can play anything. And it just looks sexy. Buy it dude.

  • awesome, cheers man

  • Yeah I Just Picked UP The 2008 SR500 (Not The 5 String) It Can Sound Like Anything You Want To Sound Like The EQ Is Very Flexible!

  • You know it's versatile if someone can play metal with it and it comes with jazz pickups

  • @MEATSNEEZE

Very nice bass. I play on a 405, Which is amazing. And I have a K5, the signature madole of the 505's. And let me tell you, Any sound is possible as long as you have a good amp. You can buy without fear. If your local music store does not have one in, Juat go on ahead and order one. They are amazing to play. By far the slimest neck I have seen, Light wieght and like I said any sound is possible. Theyre very versitille and easy to swap in and out of certain tones.

  • my bad dude im a fuckin idiot is a 505 sorry bout that

  • sounds cool, i'm buying an ibanez 505 as my first 5 string, i've been saving 4 bout a year.

  • that must be a knock off of a 505

    differenet inlayls

the neck is not scoped out

    different finish

the 505 is sold in only one version some have a lighter or darker fnish but this is proabaly a mexican knock off

    really good playing though

  • Dude, thats not an sr505 it looks like a warwick. Good sound but not a 505!

  • Hy!

This is a legitimate SR 505. I produce a custom pickguard. It seems a Warwick, but it is not.

    Thanks

  • omg that tone O_o

  • dosent look like an sr505 to me

  • its an older one, so it doesnt have the barts and most of the components are different

  • Sounds great!

  • meu deus

perfeito o som desse baixo cara

    (Y)

    toca bem tb (Y)

    \../

    rock on

  • Realmente, é uma sonzeira...valeu..:)

  • NICE! I'm having the same problem as MCLOVIN50 w/ which bass i should get, i was actually debating on whether er not to get the warwick rockbass or the SR505, I played the 505 and loved it, i haven't played the warwick tho cuz i haven't seen any :l I keep going back andforth with the two, and what about the SR555? Is that a good one, i play rock/metal

  • Both the Warwick as the SR are great instruments. Any one you buy will be a good acquisition.

    Thanks.

  • aight cool, I guess I'll go w/ the Warwick to switch things up cuz I have a SR 305, thanks 4 the advice

  • bajista bajistaa eh

muy bien ahi ... gran demostracion :D

    saludos

    Pablo

  • Gracias, Gracias.

  • hi, im considering buying a lefty ibanez SR505 bass, and from the looks of it, it seems like a decent bass. i would buy a warwick but its too expensive. do you think its a great bass for its price, or would you recomend something else?

  • Make a test with the Warwick Rockbass Corvete Basic. The price is affordable and the sound is very good. This ibanez the video no longer exists, only the new model, which is more expensive that the warwick

  • i would test out a warwick rockbass, but the only problem is that when i go to an instrumental center, they don't even stock any lefty warwick basses. infact they barely stock any lefty basses at all, so its kind of hard to test out a bass. i was thinking about buying a warwick rockbass, but i did a little research on it, and i found a lot of reviews saying you can get better then the rockbass. i know your model doesn't exist, yours is a 1995 model. im sure the new SR505's sound just as good.

  • sr 505 but the thing is most people play laid back on the bass but i play rock-metal but plays great fer both:)

  • well, it looks like i have no choice but to get the rockbass corvette because ibanez discontinued the lefty SR505...

  • true but both are great good luck! :)

  • Nice!

  • is the neck a c shape. i hate flat backed necks. would love to get a 5, but want one with a C neck

  • that isn't a sr505. i own one and this one doesn't look or sound like a sr505. that's a warwick corvette or some other model of warwick i suppose. am i wrong?

  • You are wrong. This is a genuine SR 505 produced in 1995, with the pickups Ibanez model ADX5. I just made a pickguard in acrylic to change the look.

    Obridado for comment.

  • that's definitely a sr505... that skinny neck is a dead giveaway... out of curiosity, when did they change the pickups to bartolini?

  • how thin is the neck? i want a 5er, but have a little difficulty with fat precision necks

  • How is a bass, 5 strings, the arm is wider as usual. But it is fine when compared to other models that exist. It really is very comfortable.

  • thats an awesome bass. i was gonna get it this january. i'm pretty sure that it doesn't come with a pickguard, if you got that somewhere is it from a place that has other pickguards to choose from or whatever. it would be sweet if you got that from a website or something

anyway, good video, great sound. keep rockin.

  • The pickguards is my idea. Really the models SR has no pickguards. I produce in acrylic everything done at home.

    Thank you.

  • Good shit!

You seen the new Ibanez SR655PB

    I WANT IT!

  • Ok man. Thank you.

  • Ok. Good basses.

  • warwick,spector & yamaha are the bast

  • spector sucks, this is my list:

    fodera, warwick, ibanez and yamaha...
