@muchookees You haven't played for a while have you? You can't get 13km/s crows any more, and even if you could scram + web will still be much more effective because the scram shut's down the opponent's mwd. If you're going for EFT numbers my setup still does 315dps with void, and allows much better range control through using the dual prop setup. with an overheated ab I will still go faster than an oppossing ceptor in a mwd+scram+web setup.
Try this, one of the best taranis pilots used to use this setup. Fit a taranis with 2 heatsink 2's damage control, mwd 2, 2 webs, and 3 ion 2's. 310 dps, it rips through frigs in seconds. tricks to use are to get intys to follow you to a planet at 0km. They drop out and you drop them. Otherwise just charge at them and let rip, seen this setup take out dictors and AF's even.
@TheDorianTormak I get where you're coming from yea. But i found that even incompetent pilots know how to run :P. and by overheating scram and spamming mwd you can usually catch up to them just as they leave their scram range. that 6-7 seconds where they're at 4-7km is enough reason for me to load null and apply damage. It's mainly based on my experiences within fights that I decide to load null. Go with what works for you
@TheDorianTormak If the dramiel pilot had any sense he'd be trying to kite you with his much superior speed advantage and with barrage loaded. Null gives you the best chance of actually dealing any damage to a dram, presuming it's a competent pilot.
sweet mate, u have some mad gunnery skills, high speed manuvering, thermo, and some other skils that are really making u bad ass. would love to know what u got as skill sets mate, would preciate it.
Nice piloting. Been flying more ceptors lately myself lately, but I doubt I will be able to continue seeing how OP the new AF's are...
