my father is a vietnam veteran and has had no issue once in his life in receiving benefits from the government. My brother was in desert storm and once again no issue. I have never once actually met someone that joined the military served their term and got screwed without having done something themselves.

my father is a vietnam veteran and has had no issue once in his life in receiving benefits from the government. My brother was in desert storm and once again no issue. I have never once actually met someone that joined the military served their term and got screwed without having done something themselves.

wow, thats interesting. not calling you a liar but when my friends father who is also a vietnam vet went to kaiser hospital at his wifes request they could not figure out what was wrong with him. for 2 weeks he was near death ill and finally his son took him to his normal county hospital and they removed close to 8 litres of urine from him that apparently kaiser said was not there. Sounds like the hospital you're stepfather needs to go to another hospital (if at all possible)

have you ever heard of martin luther king hospital in LA? they recently let a woman die because they thought she was just crazy, until she started convulsing and spitting blood up then died. Hospitals are ran by people and people make mistakes. I dont see what universal healthcare will change... other than making it where everyone gets the same doctor which in my own crazy head would equate to even worse treatment. I do not pretend that his beliefs are not subject to critique. I do however believe in that video above, there is a sense of strong, altruistic ideals.
