sorry friend but you should not teach these rites, because when they are done right with the breathing which are totally different from other types of yoga and if they are performed with precition and in a correct manner they will actually help a lot but you are not performing any of this sadly enough. Sorry but I have to speak up .. I like your love speech but life and this world is not all that good but something we have to accept as well and is part of life and is what will give progress.
@cellogirlable sorry but she is doing each one of them wrong .. to fast or too slow has no baring but the fact that she is doing them wrong can even injure people... so better be careful with that .. she is all wrong .. Very Sad since some people might think it is right .. :(
@KelsangWangmo Well she looks happy, in great shape and very healthy, so whether shes not doing them the way you do them, I think it's not hurting her. Maybe she's doing more of a 5 rite exercise than a 5 rite meditative exercise. :)
@KelsangWangmo have you found a video where it is actually done right? All I've found are people doing cardio, not explaining anything about breathing :(
@jumano yes I found a video actually with a guy who was doing it right .. well as close to right as could be aspected at least. I will try to find it for you but if I can't find it again please look for it yourself. Meanwhile be happy :))

these five rites should be made slowly, following a similarly slow rate of breathing! The mind must be fully involved in breathing. It should be like a ritual, not a fitness! Slowly,,,,, thanks
@nickathomeh you are right nickathomeh! she is doing it totally wrong and nobody should follow this ... all the movements are demonstrated in a wrong way .. to fast but also with lots of faults in the movements. she has no idea of what they are about and has interpreted them totally wrong. Very Sad to see this.!!!

@isaboo2 The book suggests starting with three repetitions the first week. Add two repetitions each following week. The tenth week you will do 21. However, you should be gentle with yourself, so do whatever you're capable of.
@Raageshwari - First of all, you should not be wearing a watch and the rings, they block the energy flow.
Second of all, why black clothes for early morning Yoga? Light colors such as white, beige would have been so soothing...other than that its a good video : )
To cutie: if you just do this 21 times it is adequate, you could compliment it with walking or swimming.
Dr shalabh: ideally it should be done in the morning.. Yogi's consider the time at the junctures of the day ie. the hour of sunrise and sunset to have the maximum benefit ..
