  • I dream, whilst awake, to such music! Ahhhhh!

  • Garm! Garm! Garm! Garm! Garm! Garm! Fuck Vortex, fuck century media shit!

  • Vocalist from Ulver, this is the only good album from Borknagar.

  • hail grim!!!!

  • their best album so far

  • This is pure Black Metal sound.

  • I love this effing song!!!!

  • great album! love it! cheers from germany!

  • Best Borknagar - Album ever!

  • I want to live in that house.

  • @Stigmatikk In that case I want to rent a room!!!

  • Just imagine if Borknagar could've kept this line up and stayed in this direction musically.

  • Just spent the last hour running through a snowy forest in below freezing weather for no other reason than to listen to this album in an environment epic enough for it.

  • @Rengori I don't blame you, I would do the same! And I live in Minnesota! :D

  • @Rengori I do the same thing man

  • @Rengori id do the same thing if i wasnt so fat and smoked so much cigarettes

  • Wow, I didn't even know Infernus worked with Garm for this album. Sorg was totally right about Garm.

    Fuckin genius. \m/ BORKNAGAR \m/

  • @Damballa89x I totally didn't even realize Garm was doing Ulver. Blew me away when I realized that!

  • I can't even begin to comprehend why this band (and this album) is so underrated... I mean, the talent in it should be enough to want to give it a mandatory chance. Garm (Ulver, Arcturus), Grim (Immortal, Gorgoroth), Infernus (Gorgoroth, Orcustus), and the guitarist (forgot his name) as far as I can tell is just brilliant. I love the tone of the guitar and the riffs he does with them, very unique. It seems that every band Garm was in makes beauty out of really "ugly" guitar sounds. EPIC album!

  • @ProcreatingSorg Infernus was in Borknagar???? :O

  • @wolfboii999 He is the bassist for this album :) I read online somewhere that Malicious Records (which had some of the MOST amazing black metal albums in the 90's under it's belt) didn't even ask for demos, they just signed the band when they realized the talent found in the supergroup.

  • @ProcreatingSorg well then how the fuck are they not the most famous band in the world?!

  • best baterist...garm...amazing.....

  • my favorite song off this album. amazing song.

  • this cold raw song has that felling that black metal from 90 was meant be.For me my teen years were grown listen to that black metal back then. Im from South Europe but lately i have been a couple of times travelling in Northern Europe (Norwegian mountains, Finnish and Swedish woods) and its actually inspiring, i understand how those beautifull landscapes inspired them to such raw, cold riffs and heathen wild agression!

  • Most epic Black Metal scream at the end!!!! YES!

  • @veXomLee exactly my thought.

  • on e of the best albums from NORGE ever! call it what you will: black/viking/folk... The first album from borknagard, listen to the first Arcurus album; asperaheim symphonia,... this was the golden age of real metall, fuck all this new com. SHIT!!! Hill Normann !!

  • isnt borknagar progressive death metal or anything like that?

  • Yes, Borknagar now play something like progressive black metal. However, their first album is top-quality viking black metal. Im my humble opinion, one of the best stuff when it comes to the above-mentioned genre.

  • One of the top 5 black/folk metal albums of all time.

  • this is a fucking great song!!!!

the house on the cover ,is the same house of fjelltronen cover from wongraven!

  • Actually, it's not.

Though the cover of Fjelltronen (Wongraven) and Through chasms, caves and titan woods (Carpathian Forest) are identical.

  • @Fjell666

What a shit, just take a look on each cover...

  • @Fjell666

    lol ^^

  • @Fjell666 Its a real place and a real abandoned building.. its high up in the misty mountains in the dark forests of Norway. Where the black plague ravished, with a dark past.

I`ve actually been there.. its a good place to sit down into a really old tree, put on this album and watch the sun get swollowed by the dark hills.

  • @Fjell666

Not exactly. Fjelltronen's house is the same as it is on "Through Chasm Caves and Titan Woods" of Carpathian forest.

  • @Fjell666 how do you know? they look nothing alike...

  • exelente rolaa

  • FUCK! Wanna kill someone on this song!

  • Hell yeah, favorite song off the album!!!

  • i löööv garm

  • that scream at the end just blows my mind every fucking time i hear it. best ive ever heard, and ive heard a lot!

  • stary dobry norweski black metal

  • Creepy!!! :D

  • This song is awesome! What year is it from?

  • Album Borknagar is released on Feb 9,1996

  • Okay thanks.

  • I have got to check this album out! :D

  • amazing song

the guitars sound like cold fucking steel

  • It doesn't get much more Black Metal than this!!

Death to the false and weak.

  • Gaaaaaarm!!!!

  • Fucking BEST Album by Borknagar EVER! Garm on vocals! Viking feel... Mighty Feel! EPIC!

  • borknagar fucking rules this album is the best but i wish i could get the lyrics to it this song is my fav borknagar song and comes in the top five all time fav black metal songs
