@Alteonify Do you honestly beleive that? Dont get me wrong Deandre is a great reciver. but do you really think he would embarass the 1st round draft pick starting corner for the NY jets? get real son. wilson shut him down ounce he can do it again.
@l9o6p7a3k4a "Your stupid" I own the stupid? Yeah, you're a genius, buddy. Die hard fans? My favorite team is Miami. I just know DeAndre would kill'em.
@Alteonify Please stop trying to make me sound stupid. your just embarasing yourself. And your a miami fan? thats even worse. You probebly dont know much about either of these guys. Deandre may be taller then wilson but thats it. wilsons closeing speed and down feild speed are much faster then browns. Experiance can only make up for so much. even in his later years of college he wouldnt be able to compete with wilson.
@l9o6p7a3k4a Wilson runs a 4.4. Deandre runs a 4.5. Not much faster, huh? Deandre is the superior athlete. In any regard. His jumping ability and height make him a force. For his size, he's as fast as anyone. He just matched up against a great player with far more experience. In his freshman year. A junior Brown vs. a junior Wilson means a lot of Deandre TDs. And because I'm a Miami fan, it's somehow worse (which makes no sense) and means I can't know anything about these guys? You're a dumbass.
@Alteonify Okay first off Wilson runs a 4.3. The commentator even says it at 2:00. And as for deandre he runs a low 4.6 high 4.5 tops ( dont try and lie to me ive seen his rivals). A 4.3 and a 4.6 is a huge difference. Wilson has a 39 inch vertical i seriously doupt if deandre can even hit 30 inches. and i can almost gaurentee deandre isnt very shifty with those long legs. wilson runs a sub 4 second shuttle. Wilson woulnt get drafted in the 1st if he couldnt shut down the best in the country.
@Alteonify i agree if he ever gets focused its a wrap.. and its time now.. he with michael vick now.. its go bigger than that.. its time he reaches his potential
The Kyle Wilson Cult must be here supporting him. He didn't do anything that great. That QB sucks. If Brown had a QB with better accuracy, Wilson wouldn't have a chance against Brown. The QB is just lobbing it up there. For example, when Brown runs the post route, the ball is thrown to his outside shoulder. It is a terrible pass. All of the passes were terrible.
@xXPRIMETIMESWAGXx I know u have a point in what u wrote I'm just not sure what it is. lol. I think U R asking too much of 'first-year players'; its unfair to call any1 a bust on the basis of their production during their rookie season. I have a rule which, if applied fairly, could give u a better standard of measuring busts/stars (i.e. the FIRST 3 YEARS of players' careers); Seldom is any player a Sue-type, playing at an All-Pro level in their rookie-year, so lets not be too harsh.
@xXPRIMETIMESWAGXx The rule of '3 Years' is basically the following: If after 3 years of Wilson's career he isn't starting as a 'decent DB' in the NFL, he should be considered a 'bust'... this rule is also known as the 'Vernon Gholston-Rule'...lol. I personally think R.Ryan gave him WAY TOO MANY CHANCES. (BTW the 'decent DB' should be a standard any reasonable, objective, NFL-fan should come to.)
@xXPRIMETIMESWAGXx Well, that is a possibility. I do agree with what u were implying b4 (i.e., K.Wilson has been inconsistent and a disappointment, so far). U R absolutely right about him playing the nickel-role...but still, he needs to be consistent. (Maybe he'll be a starter 1 day, but if I'm honest, hes lucky to even play the nickel-back position.lol.) It'll take more than 1 year for him to learn the speed at which the nfl is played. (Hopefully, we'll have an NFL season this year.) lol. xD
too bad he couldnt do that vs anquan boldin....at the next level shhhhit. thats a rookie in the nfl being picked on. and a freshman in college being picked on....experience means more then ppl give it credit for i think
@raptorbpw Don't know if you've played DB or not, but the idea is to get WRs away from the ball. That being the case, Kyle's coverage is good enough that he slows up the route and throws off the timing of the QB. Those balls weren't overthown. they were put where the WR was supposed to be. Also, if the contact is borderline illegal, it means it's still legal.
Where exactly are the highlights? Wilson makes one play on a poorly thrown ball and a tackle on Baptiste. You missed the mark on whatever point you were trying to make.
@NYjetsfan2325 what was the point he was trying to make with this video? There's nothing to it. If DeAndre can ever get even close to being 100% again he's going to make Kyle Wilson his Sturger
@jamisonsarrington wow kid ur stupid.... the point of making it is how kyle wilson was the best cornerback in collage so ya.ur not the sharpest tool in the shed.
@jamisonsarrington the video clearly states it's Kyle Wilson vs. DeAndre Brown. Wilson blanketed that deep-threat this game. Very solid play, from a defensive back's perspective. The best players are not the ones that make the 'wow' plays; rather, the best players are the one's who decline any and all opportunities completely. A quarterback will always throw long or out of bounds on a perfectly guarded vertical rout.
He didnt exactly stop him(he actually got away with a hold and a pass interference) and you only showed a few clips. By the way, Brown was a true freshman at the time.
@kellyswanzy doesnt matter if he was a freshman, hes playing D-1 ball at a decsent school, he should have won jump ball battles against Kyle, but no, he didnt, cause Kyle has blanket coverage and raptorbpw, your right, its BOARDERLINE illegal contact, so its still legal. And your right, there were overthrown balls cause Kyle is just that good on man to man coverage, QB's are scared to throw in his direction. I dont blame them haha
@Droc7227 too bad he couldnt do that vs anquan boldin....at the next level shhhhit. thats a rookie in the nfl being picked on. and a freshman in college being picked on....experience means more then ppl give it credit for i think

I'd love to have seen this when DeAndre Brown was a sophomore or junior. He would've embarrassed this kid.
