For his size, he's as fast as anyone. He just matched up against a great player with far more experience. In his freshman year. A junior Brown vs. a junior Wilson means a lot of Deandre TDs. And because I'm a Miami fan, it's somehow worse (which makes no sense) and means I can't know anything about these guys? You're a dumbass.

@Alteonify Okay first off Wilson runs a 4.3. The commentator even says it at 2:00. And as for deandre he runs a low 4.6 high 4.5 tops ( dont try and lie to me ive seen his rivals). A 4.3 and a 4.6 is a huge difference. Wilson has a 39 inch vertical i seriously doupt if deandre can even hit 30 inches. and i can almost gaurentee deandre isnt very shifty with those long legs. wilson runs a sub 4 second shuttle. Wilson woulnt get drafted in the 1st if he couldnt shut down the best in the country.

The Kyle Wilson Cult must be here supporting him. He didn't do anything that great. That QB sucks. If Brown had a QB with better accuracy, Wilson wouldn't have a chance against Brown. The QB is just lobbing it up there. For example, when Brown runs the post route, the ball is thrown to his outside shoulder. It is a terrible pass. All of the passes were terrible.

I think U R asking too much of 'first-year players'; its unfair to call any1 a bust on the basis of their production during their rookie season. I have a rule which, if applied fairly, could give u a better standard of measuring busts/stars (i.e. the FIRST 3 YEARS of players' careers); Seldom is any player a Sue-type, playing at an All-Pro level in their rookie-year, so lets not be too harsh.

I personally think R.Ryan gave him WAY TOO MANY CHANCES. (BTW the 'decent DB' should be a standard any reasonable, objective, NFL-fan should come to.)

@raptorbpw Don't know if you've played DB or not, but the idea is to get WRs away from the ball. That being the case, Kyle's coverage is good enough that he slows up the route and throws off the timing of the QB. Those balls weren't overthown. they were put where the WR was supposed to be. Also, if the contact is borderline illegal, it means it's still legal.

The best players are not the ones that make the 'wow' plays; rather, the best players are the one's who decline any and all opportunities completely. A quarterback will always throw long or out of bounds on a perfectly guarded vertical rout.
