  • 240p, we meet again... but i don't give a f., this is an awesome song and brings so much joy i couldn't care less about the quality of the video

  • Can´ t this sound more persuasive these days than it did in their youth? Either of them was really - and painfully - struggling to achieve his private happiness. Now they know even better what this feeling is about.

  • the first time i heard bout this song was on the 4th volume of the new spider man series

  • THE HAPPIEST SONG ON EARTH !!!

  • I like to drink good wine and listen to this song :)

  • What makes me laugh is Simon really, really hates this song. He claims it's too simplistic and pedestrian. I guess "Slip out the back, Jack, Make a new plan, Stan, Drop off the key, Lee" is classic poetry? LOL!

  • The world would be a different place if everyone started their day listening to this song.

  • @TVWriterGuy agreed.

  • This is just WEIRD!!!

  • One of my very good friends, who recently committed suicide, loved this song. This song brings back so many memories. I hope he's feelin' groovy in Heaven <3

  • So yeah, I just woke up 15 minutes ago, school started about an hour and a half ago, I was rushing until about 10 minutes ago, when this came on shuffle. Looks like school will have to wait.

  • Looks (and sounds) like a "grand piano" version of a melodica. Hope somebody can give you a better answer.

  • These guys are quite possibly the most amazing duo ever! I'm 16 and they are my favorite! I wish they where still together though. Would of loved to see one of their concerts before I die.

  • @pinkmonkeysrock11101 They're still together kid! Fingers crossed your parents will get you a ticket. ;-)

  • We listened to this EVERY morning on the way to school! :)

  • No concerts like these anymore.

  • What's the name of the keyboard woodwind instrument one of them is playing?

  • Love this song.. I love almost all Paul Simons songs. I never get tired of singing them... makes you feel so good. Check out my page, I cover this song. My friend recorded me playing it at The House of Blues VooDoo Lounge on Sunset. He titled it "feeling groovy" though.. :)

  • @clps12 it's an accordion.

  • listen to this as you get ready in the morning. It's impossible to have a bad day afterwards :)

  • What instrument is that at 2:25?

  • I love going for a leisurely stroll after a toke; this song goes on the playlist next to CCR.

  • thank you lompebroed for enlightening me to what a didgeribone was lol

but does anyone know the name of the mini piano-mouth organ that "Rod Schwimmer" is apparantly playing? haha

  • Looks like is is a type of Melodica which is like a Harmonica / accordion - blow into it and when keys are pressed your breath stream of air goes across the reeds. There are a few makers of these under such names as 'Melodion'. etd. There are also ones with pickups built in for amplification. The one Schwimmer is playing is are pretty fancy one. Would like on myself.:-)

    rocamusic

  • @VivaLaVieBoheme49 ive said that to very few songs and after i said it to this one, i saw your comment haha

  • @VivaLaVieBoheme49 Do it. NOW! I am!

  • Paul NEVER liked this song. He hated it was such a hit because he had to sing it so often.

  • This is what I listen to when the tramadol first kicks in :D

On a side note; this version isn't that great it's too slow.

  • @Zerrith Fuck Ultram. Dilaudid is waaaaaay better!

  • my band played this song and a bunch of others by them like mrs robinson last year

    Great song! love it!

  • Does anyone know the name of the two instruments that are shown near the end? One looks like an accordion with a mouth piece and the other looks like a didgeridoo with a slide part... I would love to know the names of them...

    Great SONG!!!

  • @JoeBradshaw123456

The one that looks like a didgeridoo is just a sliding didgeridoo, the accordian like one is a Melodica.

  • fucking great!

  • What concert was this from and what year was it! This is the best performance of this song I've ever heard from them!

  • And there went Rod Schwimmer!

  • F*cking hippies.

    I love them.

  • Come to watch your flowers growin' Feeling groovy..

  • Candi~ COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Had a blast at this tour.

  • sooooooooooooooo grooooooooovy.....

  • After hearing the studio version for so many years, this does sound pretty bad.

  • @cafemartini The best version of this song is the Central Park one.

  • Not gonna lie, I love this song. Why does everyone now adays have to be so angry? :O Can't we all just get along?

  • @sohltofang i can answer that question, because there is so much negativity in the world.

  • @sohltofang tribalism, i think

  • Looks and sounds like a real cheery and feeling groovy performance :)

(it's got a couple of instruments I've never seen before, but they really do serve the song well with their unique sound and somewhat ' funny 'appearance ... )

  • This song will NEVER grow old, it's timeless. Paul is perfect, but it is SO great to see Artie! Love you guys. I seen them years ago in Vancouver, B.C. Canada and they were superb, but I kept waiting all night for them to play this little gem, feelin' groovy- finally they did. It made me so happy to hear it live!

  • this is what life is all about just been a life

  • Legends

  • I've never seen a bong played so well.... YES!!!

  • Loved seeing y'all in Houston!

  • The best NY story about this song: some guy was walking down the street around 59th street and he started whistling "the 59th street bridge song", and some guy behind him started whistling along with him, and that guy was........ Paul Simon.

ONLY IN NEW YORK, the best city in the world.

  • I bet he's being there all day, just waiting for someone to come by and start whistling this song.

  • @FenianandLimey Caerau is the best city in the world mate, hands down u fool.!!

  • @FenianandLimey Sounds like BS to me. I wonder if anybody asked Paul Simon if this was true.

  • @jamesspeculator My goodness you're a killjoy! Surprised you're listening to this at all, surprised you're not reading the stock reports and looking out of your glass window upon what you think of as the sheep below.

  • @FenianandLimey

Hardly the best city in the world-how haughty can you be? I've been in NYC 1978 & the people were NOT very friendly-I asked politely about a dozen people to tell me the time (aged 14) as I forgot my watch that day-EVERY single one ignored my request. IGNORAMUS City.

Not a patch on Glasgow or even London!

  • @FenianandLimey NO WAY!!!!!!!!!

  • @FenianandLimey It's not about the destination, it's about the journey. Misktakes will be made, but WTF. Try a little cross-dressing -- it gets you in touch with your feminine (and vastly superior) side.

  • @FenianandLimey Another New York story but not about this song. Billy Joel saw Elton John in a New York street and they stopped and chatted for a while. When they finished talking they noticed they were surrounded by hundreds of fans! Like you say, "Only in New York".

  • I'd love to see them when they come to Calgary. too bad the ticket prices are insane.

  • simplemente grandioso

  • ha i hav to do this song 4 my junior cert!!!!

  • awesome song! sang in music!

  • when is this concert from??!

  • I really like this song! Feeling Groovy! lol

  • lol it's funny that this comment and the replies got so many thumbs down as if drugs are taboo in the youtube world.

especially because this song was most likely written about some sort of psychedelic drug anyways..
