Matt Cassel took a one loss team from a season earlier, & they loose 4 extra games, win 7 less games, Matt cassel throws 21 TD's 11 INT's /3693 pass yards, lost his division, & missed the playofffs entirely. So if cassel took last years 14-2 pats team, they would most likely be 7-9 or worse. But brady with those same WR's throws for 29 more Td's than cassel lol thats bad.

It's all luck some times. Like the guy said in the video if the Pat's knew Tom was going to be the best QB every he would of been a 1Rd pick by who ever had the First pick that year. Look at the Cowboys they have an ok QB its hard to fine a Hall of Fame QB ask the Lions and the Browns. You just never know, you need a little bit of luck when you pick a QB or any other position. Just like Tebow everyone say he can't anything but he went out there and won alot of games for a guy who can't play.

Tom Brady's story isn't over, this year I want a Packers/Patriots Superbowl that will set a new record with over 100 combined points scored, just to watch the to best QB's in the game trade touchdowns, and have the Packers lose by a 2-point conversion. That would be the ultimate Superbowl.

.Don't make the same mistake by saying rings are TEAM effort- OF COURSE they are, but look at all the teams with all the talent today and no leadership-What happened with Vick competing for league MVP with Brady in 2010 or even "DREAM TEAM" Eagles in 2011? They have a defense, they have an offense and according to great scouts and analysts GREAT QB-Where are they now? Brady s not a GOD and Football is a TEAM SPORT it doesn't matter what position you are judging,

If the SB rings don't say the true story about a leader and a qb then maybe these video series can. Super bowls are only part of this story and part of the measure. Manning is great yes but as #1 pick he was expected to be, Brady still after 2 SuperBowls MVP awards and League MVP still feels like he has to work twice as hard as anyone else to prove he's the best QB for his team...

Brady is a great QB. Not saying he isn't. BUT. Tell me. Since he has become THE guy. His 3 SB wins were with great defenses and great running games. Not to take those wins away from him because he was part of it. But those were TEAM SB wins. But since NE has become a nearly pass only team, they haven't won anything. Same with Manning. When the Colts relied just on him they couldn't win the SB. Goes to prove the rings dont make Brady better. Because it is a TEAM achievement.

@GTAMoviesAndFlix yeah i know where was that great defense before Tom was QB? The pats were 5-11 the year before tom was the starter in 2000. Then in 2001 tom took an 5-11 team to 11-5, and on to beat the rams in the super bowl. heres a wake a up call for you Tedy Bruschi, Junior seau, Mike Vrabel, Ty Law, Willie Mcginest, & Richard Seymour are not going to Hall of Fame, so lets get rid of that "great defense" garbage. Not to menton Tom never had a WR have a 1000 yard season until 2007.

@PsychoMantis04 But they were all pro bowl level players at that time. I'm not saying Brady had nothing to do with it, but he had a great defense, one of the best at that time. So it isn't garbage. Plus they were great at getting turn overs in key spots. And the reason he never had a 1000 yard WR is because the pats actually ran the ball consistently back then. Since they have become this pass basically all the time offense that goes through Brady they have no SB's to show for it.

@GTAMoviesAndFlix Get the word "great" out of here. lol the steelers since the 60's have had great defense, the ravens of the last 11 years have had great defense, the 85 bears have had great defense, and thoee defenders are all in the hall of fame, which is where all the "great" players go. Their first two super bowls were won on last minute game winning drives by Tom. Check out Tom's numbers in his 4 super bowls, 7 TD's 1 INT, brady holds the record for most completions in super bowl history!

@PsychoMantis04 The 2001 defense gave up only 17 pts a game 2003 14.9 and 2004 16.2. All of those ranked top 5 in the league those years besides 2001 which ranked 6th. That's great to me. Not to mention the Patriots ran the ball way more than they do now. It was more of a team effort back then. Again Not saying Brady wasn't a big part of it. But he should not get all the credit. Since the team has just become a focus on him throwing the ball they haven't won anything. an SB is a TEAM effort

@GTAMoviesAndFlix oh the offense was ran by tom. and givens was gargbage, his career numbers speak for themselves so thats not even debateable. the colts had a 1000 yard rusher in edrin james, with duel deep threats in reggie wayne and marvin harrison from 02 to 05. The pats for most of this season had a running game as well. Correy dillon is irrelelavent because he doesnt change this argument one way or another, the facts remain the same, brady had shittty recievers and still won. Deal with it

@PsychoMantis04 But the colts had no defense. See Manning is his offense. He calls the everything. Brady ran what B.B told him to run. Givens was a decent WR so was branch. The Pats didn't need to go out and score 30 pts because they had a D giving up less than 20 pts a game. Sure the Colts had an amazing offense, but they had no D. Look at the 2000 Ravens. You can win it all on defense and running, but not offense alone.

@GTAMoviesAndFlix in 2007 Tom went 18-1 threw 50 TD's 8 INT's 4806 pass yards, won his division & went to the super bowl. Matt Cassel took a one loss team from a season earlier, & they loose 4 extra games, win 7 less games, Matt cassel throws 21 TD's 11 INT's /3693 pass yards, lost his division, & missed the playofffs entirely. So if cassel took last years 14-2 pats team, they would most likely be 7-9 or worse. But brady with those same WR's throws for 29 more Td's than cassel lol thats bad.

Every great or alleged great QB has had a great reciever, Montana, young, farve, warner, aikman, bradshaw. Tom only had ONE go to reciever, & that lasted for 2 full seasons.

They weren't top flight but they were good. You don't need a top 5 WR to win. Look at the saints. They just have a lot of pretty good WR's. N Tom didn't need a big time WR because the offense wasn't put thru him bk then. the team was balanced. takes more than a QB to win an SB.

Whats more shocking is that when peyton won his first SB in '06, he threw 3 TD's 7 INT's in the playoff games leading up to the super bowl. THIS is why brady earns the clutch award, becasue through 4 super bowl appearences Tom's numbers rank 2nd all time. 7 TD's 1 INT to peyton's 2 TD's & 2 INT's. Not to metion one peyton's INT'S were a pick 6 to LOOSE a super bowl. Tom's never thrown pick 6 in any SB.

There is a lesson to be learned here. When you are accessing a mans abilities you look not only at his physical attributes and skills you look at his heart. I believe Tom Brady has changed forever the way that not only the NFL but all major league team scouts and recruiters judge a draft pick. But more importantly his lesson should be most learned by the athletes themselves. If you want to succeed you have to work hard and you have to really believe. Tom always believed he was the best and he is

@Appleholic1, as much as I'd like to agree with your comment, the truth is that it's really impossible to look at someone's heart. How can desire, determination, dedication, and passion be "measured"? They can't, and even if they could, scouts don't have time to find those answers. That's why the NFL draft is still imperfect and will remain so for the foreseeable future, and that's really why it's so exciting. Every team hopes that it scores a Tom Brady, and any team can every April.

The problem is, he didnt looked anything special at college. Whether it was by lack of opportunities or that he hasnt really bloomed at that stage of his career, it was simply impossible to tell at the time that he was going to be great. Same with Joe Montana. And we're not sitting here saying he changed the scouting in the NFL forever. Its just another example of the inherent difficulty of scouting football players. There's just too many things that cant be quantified.

I'm a Detroit Lions fan, but I am also a Michigan Fan. It was pretty amazing seeing Tom is the Maize N Blue, now he's in the Navy, Red, and White, of the New England Patriots. Though I'm a Lions fan, Brady is my favorite QB. From Pick 199 to NFL MVP, and currently a three-time Super Bowl Champion, Tom Brady is the biggest steal of all-time.
